These tools are cheap and the quality reflects in the price. I am sure these are the same 20 stamp set in most of the other kits and they are low grade. the patterns are shallow and porous, so they don't make a crisp impression. The hammer is drilled with the holes way bigger than the bolt holding it together so you have to center and tighten it up pretty tight to keep it balanced, but be careful it doesn't feel like it will hold up to too much tightening. I haven't used the swivel knife yet, it looks like all the other cheap ones. That said it was cheap and I wanted some things to get me going while I build up better tools, it has done that.

Pretty good set for the price all in all pleased with it. Would buy again heavy duty handles and strong stamps. 5 stars

I decided to try leather carving and sidnt want to break the bank so I tried out this kit. I really loved everything in it (especially how heavy the mallet is)! Honestly no complaints other than wishing it had a smaller bevel stamp as well.

Great starter stamping kit for people trying to get into leather working.

Good selection of tools for a beginner

We've had horses forever and of course when you have horses your going to use alot a leather. I've always wanted to try and customize some of my tack a little. I thought this might be a good little set to practice with. It takes a little practice learning how hard or soft you need to hit. For the most part these aren't too bad of a starter set it seems like a couple of them are a little shallow but as a whole and being an amateur I'm happy with it.

This stamping set is very nice and very high quality. I wish there was at least a small instruction sheet, but I'll look up the specifics on a couple of tools. I'm pleased with the quality and with the price.
