Great for napping and playing! Our kitties love it
The media could not be loaded. We have two kitties (10 months old & 10 weeks old) who kept climbing up the side of our door frames in the house and up onto the top of our doors. They’re obsessed with getting as high up as they can, and our other cat tower wasn’t satisfying enough for the fur babies, so we upgraded to this cat tower. They’ve been obsessed ever since! No more destroyed / sliced up door frames, yay!I was hesitant about buying this tower because of all the reviews complaining about the stability. In the other video/photo reviews posted, it looks like they used both tension poles at the top of the tower to extend the height, and it seems their ceiling is too tall for this tower to be stable. If you measure how high your high your ceiling is and make sure it’s within the recommended limit, you shouldn’t have an issue with stability. Our ceiling is 90 inches high and our cats chase each other up and down for hours with no concerns of it falling over. We also cut one of the plastic tension poles for the top of the tower in half, because with both poles it was too tall for our last house. It does shake a little bit, but it’s supposed to! Of course it’ll shake with two little menaces chasing each other up and down (: Our bigger cat is 12lbs and the little guy is 3lbs, haven’t had any issues so far. If your cat is closer to 20lbs or more, it might shake more for you.The fuzzy material is great for climbing, provides a lot of grip for climbing from level to level. They love scratching the post just as much as they love climbing it. Both of our cats love sleeping in the little basket too, even the bigger kitty! The top level is an ideal napping spot for both of our cats.Cats might fall off, be warned, but that’s just how it is having a tower this high. We put a large pillow at the bottom because our kitten is top heavy and we don’t trust him to fall on his feet like our bigger kitty does. Our larger cat who is used to climbing and jumping has no issues getting down, she usually likes to jump right off the top level like a maniac.I also saw another review complaining about the “configuration” of the platforms. The smaller triangle platform seems difficult for larger cats to navigate when climbing downwards, but our kitty climbs down onto it from the highest platform just fine. I would love if this platform was a bit bigger. This might be an issue if your cat is huge, so keep that in mind. The other review mentioned that the 4th level is “literally impossible for cats to reach from level three” which is definitely dependent upon the cat! Both of our cats have no problem scaling the tower all the way to the top (:If you’re thinking of buying this, do it! It’s a fantastic purchase and your kitties will love it!

Needs to be mounted to the wall
The media could not be loaded. Okay quality, soft material, easy to assemble, a lot space for scratching. My cat loved it and was trying to climb it even before I finished to assemble it, but the only issue is that it is not stable at all, youWill need to mount it to the wall or even a smallest cat will knock it out, if you want to have it in the middle of the room this not an option for you.

My cat loves it
My cat loves it and she sleeps in it every night. Very easy assembly and easy to move if you decide you need to move it somewhere else in the house. It doesn't take up much space at all. The only negative I have to say about it is the fuzzy fabric at the top and bottom does not stand up to cat claws and was shredded by the end of the first week.

Don’t get if you have medium-large or active cats
My cats are about average size. The basket specifically is very small. They fit in it enough to sit, but it would be nice if it was bigger so they could sleep comfortably in it too. The shelf/perch spots are also small and awkwardly angled so it’s not very easy for them to climb. The biggest thing I did not like is that the part that reaches the ceiling is not very strong or stable so it has fallen a few times if they run and jump on it or if they’re both on it playing together. Not very safe.

Delayed the review for usability…
I bought this a while ago, but I wanted to give it time to make sure that any review I did would be accurate. And I can’t say after having had this a few months with six cats… It’s actually really good. The only thing I can encourage you to make sure that you do Make sure it’s perfectly centered and let you actually anchor it to the structure. Do not rely on that pole to hold it in place by itself. I have six cats, four of which are thud butts. And handles they’re chasing each other up and down the pole quite nicely, the only thing I would do any differently is make sure that there’s an easy area for them to jump down to since the landings aren’t as wide as they look.

Dangerous and destructive and poor quality
Problem #1: Even though I originally measured for height, the tension rod was too short to use for my ceiling. Even if the tension rod worked, I don't think you would ever want to use this without an anchor. Problem #2 - I did anchor it to the wall with the hardware provided. My cats pulled the anchor right out of the drywall. It's not a small anchor either. I went to the store and purchased an anchor that pops open once inserted. Problem #3. The screw head was (apparently) ever so slightly just a tad bit too small for the bracket provided with the tower and last night it wiggled out from the screw, collapsed, and broke in half. My 2 cats weigh a combined 16 pounds. They loved this tower and climbed it like a tree and used the hammock. However, I would never recommend this product. If I had had a washer for the screw, probably wouldn't have happened. But, I shouldn't have ever needed to go that far. I was unable to wiggle the bracket out of the screw, but apparently, my cats, with the weight of the tower, were able to accomplish this. Thankfully, it missed my brand new 75" TV.
