3M Durapore Silk Tape - 3 x 10 Yds (1 Roll)

Super stick, durable and easy to use, good quality, which is becoming very rare these days.

I bought these some time ago, March 4, 2011 @ $13.70 per the same count. I broke them up with other items to make several emergency first aid kits to give to my adult sons, I kept one myself in case of a real emergency like Hurricane Katrina or Sandy, I live close to the coast in Maine, so better to be safe than sorry. I followed a check list of things I found on several web sites to put them together, most of them suggested things that were as these are, water resistant, these things would keep almost indefinitely as long as not exposed to heat/cold and moisture for long periods of time. I have used this tape for a while now and it comes in handy for lacerations, cuts and abrasions that occur on the construction jobs I work on.

I have to wrap my arm each night with short stretch wraps to keep the swelling from lymphedema from getting out of control - for the rest of my life. I need this tape to secure the wraps and this tape keeps them in place even if I toss and turn in bed. The quality is good and I can use each strip I attach for 3-4 nights before I replace it with another strip. I use about a foot of tape twice a week, so this box of 4-10 yard rolls should last me for a while. Good product and price.

I work as an RN in transport and need to write quick notes for future reference when working on a patient chart. Sometimes it’s easier for me to rip 4-6” of this tape and apply it to my upper right leg (I’m right-handed) to jot down times/medication/interventions so I don’t forget. It’s very easy to write on because of its width and also tears easily. I found this to be a good price. I will likely buy this again.

I'm a nurse and have used this tape for 25 years. This tape will STICK. I always keep 1 inch and 3 inch sizes around the house, it's like the duct tape of the medical world. That said, this tape is absolutely not for everyone. Older people with more fragile skin can get serious wounds from this tape, when it's removed it can take the skin with it. I suggest never ripping it off quickly, especially on sensitive areas.

This tape is hard to tear with your bare hands. It is very sturdy. We will be buying more since we use a lot of tape.
