An "elegant scale"? Yes, indeed. I have been frustrated in the UK by not being able to find a scale that weighs in pounds and is mechanical, too. I had purchased other scales and been really disappointed because of poor quality and or having to do time-consuming conversions from stones or kilos. Digital scales are just not always accurate, either. I prefer mechanical scales for accuracy, but good luck trying to find one that has line markers you can see without a telescope! I was skeptical when viewing the low price if this was going to be another plastic nightmare of a scale. However, because it was one of the only mechanical lb. scales available, I bought it. I was totally surprised by its quality and craftsmanship! This beautiful minimalist scale is designed with a footpad that is sleek and strong. It reminds me of one which would be used in an upscale spa or salon as it appears to be crafted of a futuristic-styled ivory tempered glass. The scale itself is sturdy and weighted so that it stands well where it is placed. You have the option of weighing yourself digitally in either stones, kilos and/or pounds (hooray!) by using a selection button underneath. It will flash your weight three times to make sure it is accurate (on digital). Your mechanical kg weight is displayed on a stunning large dial that lights up making it easy to read. While the lb markers are smaller, and only in five pound increments (please note that), they are still relatively easy to spot in white on black background. The best part is that you can check to see if the digital weight is accurately matched with the mechanical dial. So, it is the best of both worlds! Cannot recommend this highly enough. If you have struggled with throwaway plastic scales or expensive scales that still did not do the trick...buy these. You will not not be disappointed. (But if you are, Amazon's return policy is truly commendable.) This is not flawless , but at this price point for quality...it is a great buy. (Note to buyer: The mechanical scale only weighs in kgs. and lbs....not stones. And you will have to make one digital selection for your viewing weight. It will not display three types simultaneously.)

Firstly, the most important part - they are accurate. I've moved these around and got the same result each time, with only a variation of 0.2lbs once. I will be keeping them in the same spot on the bathroom floor but it's good to know that silly things like the angle you stand at, or being knocked, won't affect the reading! I weigh every day and am currently dieting so exact readings are important, so these are perfect if you're watching your weight. Secondly - I love the how easy to read it is. I am short sighted and had to squint at other scales, but this display is so large and clear that I can see without my glasses, and I don't have a mild prescription. Thirdly - I prefer lbs or stones, and it's very easy to switch from kgs, you just push a button, there's nothing fiddly to do. Finally - Whilst I've always thought reviews praising the 'prettiness' of scales were a bit superfluous, they do look stylish, which is a nice bonus. Definitely worth the money and I'm delighted with this purchase.

Arrived as arranged, nicely packed and presented. On checking it over however, I found as have other Amazon customers, it had no batteries with it. This despite the booklet states they ARE included. This should be sorted as it may contravene the Trades Description Act. I had some and put them in.The needle swung round in a calm unhurried way and to my surprised the digits on the dial illuminated white which against the black dial making is so easy to read.A few seconds and the LCD arrived a figure and the needle had already stopped on the scale. It flashes when it is done with you and hop off. Reading stays for 5 secs which is enough. You do have to stand very still as it confused if you are wobbling about or eating a sandwich.Apart from the battery issue, for which I would have given it 5 stars, I think 4 stars is fair. Very pleased with them and make weighing actually a pleasure ... honest .Would recommend to anyone as they do represent good value for money and even look a bit luxurious ... Been using for a few days and excellent,using in a darkened bedroom, it's like looking at Jag E type dashboard !

Clearly a well made product and excellent value for money. I researched a lot of weighing machines that promised the world with their claims about measuring all different body variables, tracking data and users, and many such claims. I found that those tend to be very hit & miss depending on the type of surfaces you place them on, inconsistency in the numbers, going through batteries, etc. I settled on this very simple machine based on the fact that that it is going to have none of the issues that the ones described above. Also, I have put my faith in human memory to figure out whether I have gained or lost weight to have discounted the need for an app to do that for me. This product looks and feels like it's been made to a very high standard. It's delivering consistent values when using within a very short time period, the batteries are supplied, the standing base looks solid and the display itself is very neat and gives a modern twist to an old type analog scale.

I originally bought one of these in 2020, I was so impressed that when it failed I ordered another one. However, when it arrived it had 3 batteries in the packaging. It was at this point I realised I had only swapped out 2 batteries when they failed, which led me to believe that it was broken. Put three new batteries in the old one and to no ones surprise it works perfectly again. This is a long lived, accurate, quality, well built simple to use set of scales. So much so that I actually bought another one when in reality I didn't actually need to do so.

One of the nicest things I've bought on Amazon. I did the usual trawl through the reviews and as usual there were pros and cons for most of the scales. After weighing things up, I plumped for this one as I liked the traditional numerical (as well as digital) display. The scales are great. I previously used a Salter digital model but found it gave inconsistent readings. You could step on the scales a handful of times in quick succession and get different readings; hardly reassuring. On the other hand the Ozeri does not have this problem. I am very happy with this purchase. PROS: Looks fantastic, really nice display and blue illumination Seems to give very reliable readings Battery has lasted 8 months so far with at least one reading a day by the family Easy to keep clean, polishes up nicely CONS: If your eyesight isn't great you may need to squint a tad to read the numbers as they're not very large but this hasn't caused an issue for anyone in our family

I found the ordering and delivery of this item extremely easy to do, delivery was very prompt. These scales are very sleek, wide, making it easy to stand on them and well designed. They are every robust and extremely easy to read. The scales use pound or kilograms and you easily change between both functions with a small button on the bottom of the scales. Full instructions are included within the box. The scales are accurate and use a digital display and do not change when weighing. The display is well illuminated and can be seen clearly when dark. I would highly recommend this product.

These are stylish looking but are not mechanical scales as the pointer does not work independantly of the batteries and will only indicate what the digital display reads. It's also not possible to manually zero the pointer. The readings are also inconsistant and, as I've found, unreliable. Changing the batteries made no difference. I eventually bought cheaper mechanical only scales and the readings differed significantly from these i.e. by 40kg as I suspected. The mechanical scales are much nearer being accurate I'm going with the mechanical scales and discarding this electronic model.

Bonjour, la livraison a été rapide , le produit très bien emballé et protégé des chocs éventuels qui soit dit en passant sont de plus en plus destructeurs lors de la "manutention" (avec les pieds?!).Très facile d'utilisation et vous avez un cadran avec aiguille digital de forme ronde (comme sur une mécanique)et un autre avec la lecture sur un écran rectangulaire avec des chiffres assez gros ; les 2 fonctionnant en même temps.Plate,légère et sans réglages obligatoires a chaque mise en route;elle fait cela toute seule et une très grande précision.Entre ma balance mécanique et elle, il y a 3 kg de différence(en + );ça fait mal mais elle donne le même poids que celle du docteur donc elle est fiable.Vous avez le poids très précisément:exemple 100,40 kg…...d'ou un régime!!LOL Vous pouvez acheter en toute confiance sauf si vous avez peur de la terrible vérité!!LOL

Now for the diet

Lo primero que me llamó la atención fue su diseño. Es realmente bonita. La pedí en color negro. Me gusta que el peso se vea en la ruleta y digitalmente. Es muy muy muy precisa. Me decidí al leer otras opiniones. Ya tuve una báscula digital y se bloqueaba con solo poner un pie. EN esta báscula no ocurre. Trae instrucciones en inglés, y también he recibido un mensaje del vendedor, indicando que puedes tener las instrucciones en italiano. Sinceramente no leí las instrucciones, pq es muy intuitiva y fácil de utilizar. En la parte de abajo hay un botón para cambiar el peso en libras o kilos. También otro botón para poner la alarma si quieres pasarte todos los días. Quizá en color blanco, se más práctica ya que se notarían menos las huellas, pero yo no me resistí, pq en color negro es preciosa. Ahhh y muy amplia. Me gusta que no sea pequeña. Creo que es totalmente un acierto. La recomiendo !!

Stand out dial with illuminated weight indicators - brilliant with no problem of seeing your weight in kg or lbs. Consistent weight after hopping on board 5 times upon installation. Even have an alarm for daily reminders. Only for those who do not need other frills or app support
