No, It is table top type. It has no option for wall mounting.

If we connect this to internet via ethernet port will the WiFi work ?

It is range extender & not a router. So answer is no. Also it's price is high compared to a good router, so would not recommend using it as a router

If someone's wifi is open but have poor coverage than can i boost that for me also without knowing him?

Yes. There will be an extended network made available (based on the name of the person's wifi) that you can use. It will be abc_2gext or abc_5gext
