I'm currently trying to tighten up some windows in our 1980's home which apparently never had top or bottom weatherstrip on the sashes (????). The top pretty much stays in place, so I wanted something thin. The bottom sash sees the most action and is more exposed to the elements (e.g. water) so I went a different route there.This product has been great for the top of the top sash to seal air out. Again I don't expect it to really see any water, but anything has got to be better than what was there (nothing). Very smooth feel, cuts well and sticks VERY well.

This outstanding weather stripping for doors is perfect for sealing tight door gaps, and it stops air leaks. It's easy to install and prevents air infiltration, as well as prevents insects from coming into the house. It is also a great noise reducer. It's the best product on the market...I tried weather stripping from other companies and was very disappointed. This insulation seal will make you wish you had bought it years ago instead of fiddling with the flimsy kinds that don’t stick for long. I love the sturdy dense foam that is still supple enough to compress when door closes on it. The adhesive is superior to the common seals sold in hardware stores. I strongly recommend this product.
