Great for rock painting. Goes on smooth, and doesn’t need extra coats. I was surprised at how quickly the paint dries. Easy for a 6 year old to use. One thing to consider before first use is preparing them in advance, especially if using them with young kids. It take a little bit of time for the paint to saturate the tips, and I can see them getting frustrated with the wait.

I bought several types of paint pens and these are my favorite. I have an art journal with black pages and these show up so bright. They work better than some very expensive brand names. The tip is a yellowish fiber. You shake the pen and depress the tip. Paint covers the tip. They don’t puddle like some paint pens. The flow is very steady and even, good coverage. The ends don’t fly out when shaking. They still work great after not using for a while. It is really neat they are clear so you can see all the paint you have left and that they are well mixed. They are a great buy for the money.

The only problem is that the paint pen box arrived open with the pens all over the place. But, none of the pens had ever been used before as you can tell by the tips. These pens have been great so far, they have good quality paint and seem to last a while! I did the black lines and the horn of this unicorn with the pens.

Loved these markers! I used them to make my welcome sign for my wedding and the white marker held up! I was afraid it would run out bc I had a lot of letters for the sign, but the marker was great. I even went over the letters a second time so the letters can be visible and the marker held up. I also used other markers and those were easy to use and great as well. This was my first time using these kinds of markers and I’m in love. Definitely will purchase again when these run out.

My favorite thing about these paint pens is that my toddler can use them with me and paint does not get everywhere! Becasue the paint is controlled in the tip of the pen by pressing down on the tip, it does not allow her to go crazy and just smear ink all over the place. The colors are so bright and vibrant and the ink is pretty solid and not translucent. Excellent quality!

We are new to rock painting and not really artists but we like the kindness behind leaving rocks for others. I ordered these pens and I find them easy to use (so does my 11yr old). They cover the rock very well. I am adding a picture with a faber castel pencil for size comparison

You spend literally hours to make the acrylic start coming down the tip, and because of having to press on the tip, it deforms it and it gets very wide. Wasted money and time.

Beautiful pens , easy to work with. These are ink so if I’m doing rock art I use paint pens . The ink will smear on rocks . Great for most all other crafts and an artist’s dream !
