Quality spatula, never get burned by the handles
This is such a great spatula. Especially if you’re working on a hot griddle. Even if you leave the spatula on top of the griddle, the handles remain perfectly safe to handle and never burn you

Wonderful Spatulas for Use On My Blackstone!
These came highly recommended from other blackstone owners. Most of which love the griddle, but somehow have a hatred for most blackstone accessories. (I have some blackstone products and seem to like them fine... but I digress)I got my griddle a year ago, and I went cheap on the spatulas for it. You get what you pay for. Your main, 'imma grab this spatula everytime I cook' needs to be dependable. And long lasting. As you can see for ratings and reviews for this brand and company, these spatulas are rock solid!I bought the 8-inch ones. One with rounded corners, one with square corners. These both weigh the same, and I should point out that they a SUPER light-weight. This is great for me, but something to keep in mind if you require or are used to a heftier spatula. They are not like a cheap or flimsy lightweight, though. The lighter weight also means that these will not sit flat on your griddle top. This means when the handles fall down and below your griddle surface, they will get hot if they get near heat. Some sort of heat resistance for the handles would have been a nice touch would be my only complaint for these really.I hope to get some of the other makes of spatulas and tools soon if they happen to go on sale.

Solid Turner but could be slightly better
So the turner is really well built. Just the right metal thickness so that its strong but still flexes when you need it too. The handle angle is good, comfortable, and cool to the touch. My only complaint is that it is heavier on the handle side. This means that if you lay the turner flat on the grill the handle will drop to the hot surface unless the metal is under something. Its not a big issue until you touch your fingers to the griddle when picking it up. This could be improved by having a slightly longer spatula or slightly reduce handle weight.

Love these things
I use these on my Blackstone 36" griddle. They are amazing. I originally bought the Blackstone kit that comes with 2 spatulas, a bench scraper, and other misc items. Those spatulas are incredibly heavy for any kind of prolonged use. They are also rather thick. The Mercer spatula is very lightweight yet sturdy enough to flip heavier stuff like steaks and piles of pasta. My only complaint is that the edges are fairly sharp so you'll want to take a file and/or fine sandpaper to it before using on a seasoned surface. These should last a lifetime though, so spending 5 minutes to smooth the edges isn't a big deal. I use 2 of these at a time when doing fried rice, pasta, or big batches of philly cheese steak. I wish they made something this light that's a little wider and not as long for pancake duty, even though these work pretty well for that.

Great spatula, lack of hole is easy to remedy
It is a great addition to my griddle tools. Well made and feels good in the hand. You can easily drill a hole in the handle if you need one, the blade is not full tang - my magnet says it is more like 3/4 tang so go ahead and drill anywhere above the logo and you will be fine.

Strong
Best current spatula you can get. Strongest I can find without finding older US made spatulas at a garage sale.
