CIPA 93187 EVO Formance Ultra-Mini LED Lightning Strobes - Ultra White - Pack of 4, x-large

When I first opened these lights and pushed the TRY ME button I was not pleased at all, they were so dim I was thinking that I'd be returning them forthwith, I decided to hook them up to true 12v. supply and was very glad I did. Wow are they ever bright. My job requires a lot of roadside work and in the daylight hours requires very bright lights to be visible.and over the years I've found that 90 watt strobe bulbs are the lowest strength to be really noticed. This is my first attempt to switch to LED Lights. I'll be getting a new truck in 01-2016 I believe these lights are nearly as bright as the 90w bulbs I've been using. The only complaint with this set is the lack of being able to make any changes to the flash pattern speed, however with the set costing less than 1 replacement strobe bulb, this isn't really a bad complaint. They are well worth the price!

This product works well and it is VERY bright. In fact, I cannot even look directly at the lights when they are on at night. I use this product to help keep raccoons and other animals out of my henhouse at night and so far it seems to be working well. This was the best deal I could find anywhere and I even checked local automotive stores as well as other online retailers. You also get nine free button batteries with the product that are used to power the product so that its operation can be observed while still in the package and if you are lucky perhaps you could use those batteries for something else once you hook the lights up to your permanent 12 volt source.

I purchased two sets, For some reason some of the individual lights in both sets stopped working very quickly, if you press on them they work again for a couple minutes, then fail again. I called CIPA twice, they never responded. Too bad as the lights are very bright and i thought they were great at first. I have had another set from a different company in another car for 4 years, still going strong. Unfortunately they are not available any more.

I was worried that these lights were not going to be bright enough for my application. I added them to my vehicle for duty. When placed properly within the headlight compartment, they are incredibly visible as tweakers during the day, and at night they are almost blinding. Excellent quality and so far, I'm very pleased.

There are conflicting reviews here. I'm an electronic engineer and I believe I know what is causing such drastic, differing reviews. First, there are NO instructions. Not a good thing and that is why I took one star away.This is a demonstration pack. It has a push button so you can see how bright they are. But, a very small, heat shrinked battery is what allows the lights to flash. If the button was against the box during shipment, you will get a very dim light. Or, if it was in an automotive store and pressed a lot, the battery will be low.There is a wire with tape on it. This is for adding more strobe units. How do you wire this? Find the red switch. There is a single red wire and on the other side of the switch are two black wires. Cut these wires from the switch. These will go to positive. After going through a switch. You will want a toggle switch and you wire battery positive to one side of the switch and these two black wires to the other side.Now, cut the two black wires coming from the small battery. This is the battery that has the red wire going to it. The other side of the battery is negative. So, take those two black wires and wire them to negative from your battery. When you flip the switch, the strobes will come on.I recommend using positive from your fuse box unless you want the strobes to work when the ignition is off. Then, you will need a wire coming from the battery.As,for strobe placement, that is up to you. Two lights blink at the same time and two blink later. I recommend taking two that blink differently and installing them near your headlights, in the grill of the car. You could put them in your headlights if they aren't sealed. This will give you the wig wag effect that law enforcement has. White strobes are legal and no permit is required.Wire the other two strobes in rear lights or on the rear of your vehicle. I must say that is a HUGE mistake that these don't come with instructions. A diagram is easier to comprehend. I hope my explanation will help.I bought mine to use on a drone. That is a much easier install. If you have questions, please post them and I will check back. I hope that I helped to some extent. These are VERY bright!

These strobe lights are small and bright. Each lamp comes with about 45 inches of cord with a tiny connector on the end. The control box, 2-1/2”Lx1-1/2”Wx1-1/4”H, has four 10-inch cords with matching connectors for the lamps and about 45 inches of 3-conductor cord for power. There are a red and a yellow conductor that both go to +12VDC and a black conductor the goes to ground. The unit comes wired with a test button and battery which should be cut away for installation.I tried to get some tech support and found that the company web site is very primitive. There is nothing but photos of their packaged products, but no tech information, no contact information. The packaged instructions are minimal. They list a tech support email address, but my email was returned undeliverable. There was no way to contact the manufacturer.

These lights are awesome. I was kinda up in the air on buying them after reading the reviews but glad I did. They are bright and sazy to install took about twenty minutes. I installed on the back of my Rv and wired into my reverse lights so when I put my truck in reverse they strobe. They work great. I would buy again.

They were nice a bright. I had installed them in my headlight and taillight assemblies on my truck. After about 2 months I couldn't get them to work anymore. All that install time for nothing.
