One of the nicest tarps I've gotten off amazon.
Forget the cool little lighting feature....This tarp is one of the BEST I've gotten off of amazon ever. The only change I'd make would be to add Beastee D rings instead of the standard little nylon D's it has currently. It's light weight (without the lighting) & well made with no signs of stitching flaws or skimping. Now, the addition of the lighting does add weight, for all you ultra light gram counters. But, one, you can leave it all behind, two, it's cool factor is off the chart. If your not a gram weenie, it's really not that much extra weight, AND, the cool factor is off the chart! You Dig. Forgot to mention, the cordage supplied is very good quality. Not cheasy throw away cord. I almost always toss the cordage that comes with my tarp & replace it with higher quality, but I did not with this one. So, in summary, Dollar for dollar, & ounce for ounce (lol) you can not do better than this rainfly for your hammock or any shelter use outdoors. Oh...plenty of coverage for an 11 foot hammock.

I can see this being used more than anticipated
I initially got this because I was intrigued by the LED light. It turns out that you need to purchase a power bank (and I have more than a couple) and use that to power the LED light strip.Even if I don't want to power the LED light strip this is still a great little shelter. I wish the instructions were a little more comprehensive. It took a little messing around the first time to figure out what all the parts are supposed to do. There is a white pouch that I assume was to hold the LED strip because there's already a small pouch for the tarp poles and string. Like all packable camping gear, pay very close attention to the way it's rolled up into the transportation pouch so you can get it all back in there when you're done using it.It would have been great to have seen some pictures in the product offering showing the various ways this can be used. Like I said, it's more versatile than I originally thought and I'll be taking it to the lake this weekend to show to the rest of the family. Yes, in ND and MN, we refer to any lake as "the lake."

Great solution for PNW camping
We live in Seattle, where raining is very common and nature beautiful. This is a necessity for whenever we go camping, as rain may start anytime. Also a great solution for light at night. Highly recommend!

Leaks
Unfortunately, we found on our kayaking camping trip, that this rain fly leaks. The water was coming through the material. It would form in lines, following the pattern of the material.It seems like an awesome product, but it just wasn't made with the right material.The size is great, so no water is coming in from the rope, or from the sides.It's just the material. Leaks through in the rain.If you just want protection from light rain though, it is fine.

Great kit for camping!
I was impressed with the quality and all the little extra provided with this kit. There are many options to hang the light strip with since there is both Velcro on the tarp itself along with Velcro hangers provided. The tarp is good quality. I got this for my husband and plan on buying at least one more light strip since you can connect them. The only thing that would make this better is if an extra light strip or power bank was included. But if we’re being honest most of us have multiple power banks so that’s not really an issue. I would buy this again.

Lighted camping tarp - high quality!
Love this tarp! It’s very sturdy, and the material is such high quality for its price point. The tarp and all pieces are light, compact, and come with their own storage bag. It comes with cool lights that attach to the tarp. Will add picture once we go on our camping trip.

Camping upgrade
Very high quality materials and well made, just as I hoped it will be. The hammock rain fly has an absolutely practical lighting feature that was well thought of, totally upgrading the camping experience.

kepted me dry
tarp seem good just used it last night over my hammock and stayed dried while it rained. Its nice that it wide enough to protect from rain and still have room to stand up underneath it. I didn't purchase it because of the rope light but that does work the light I used it. I did notice the bag for the tieouts has a tear in it now and it's only a week old the first trip I used it on.
