The product itself is great. It is thick, shiny, and I am sure it is durable. The problem is that the displayed picture caught all my attention. I thought three mixing bowls were going to be shipped. In fact, only one came. Read the description carefully!

Needed a new big sturdy bowl able to handle large quantities of bread dough and this certainly does that. Unlike a lot of large stainless bowls for sale this one is very deep and has a wide bottom so when you are mixing a lot of dough the ingredients do not spill out of the bowl. It is also very sturdy thick stainless steel so I know it will stand up to a lot of use. It is definitely worth spending a little more for a piece of equipment that will last a long time and is easier to use. I had a thinner, cheaper one and it eventually wore a hole right through the stainless!!! Would recommend this product to anyone who is serious about using quality equipment to make their mixing needs easier. It would also make a great giant salad/serving bowl if needed for a large party.

Though I was encouraged by the other reviews, what I actually received was very disappointing.Yes, it is stainless steel, heavy duty, and sturdy.However, it rusted on the rim of the bowl on the very first use and lip of it where they rolled the edge, is split.Very disappointed on the quality.Back to looking for another bowl . . .

I make bread almost every day and if not bread then something else, usually needing a large bowl. Too many times I had over flow because the bowl was too small. I had 2 bowls that were big but too heavy, then one shattered. I had to look for something quick, it was now canning time. I found these beautiful stainless bowls. I bought one. When I opened the box I was amazed. These bowls are huge, as I wanted and the weight is fantastic. Not cheap thin stuff. It was incredible. I am in the process of ordering another, that company does an excellent job of workmanship. Great to give as gifts!!! Love my bowl!

Wow. This thing is gigantic. Heavy gauge, thick metal, a wide, flat bottom so that it does not wobble. You would have a hard time denting it. Shiny, mirror finish. I had no room for it in my cabinets, so I'm keeping it in my dishwasher for now. You could mix any amount of dough with this. Pour an entire 5 lb. bag of flour into it. It will hold it with room to spare for the water and other ingredients. You could break up two or three heads of iceberg lettuce in this for salad for six. Expensive, but well worth it.

I have been building my Daughter-in-Law's kitchen with items she has shown an interest. I try to find the best quality and durability possible as they have two young sons whos appetites will be growing, and growing................. The bowl was a little Easter gift and when it arrived they were all excited with it's size, the boys promptly put it on their heads, and my kids said it was very sturdy and they loved it. I will continue to build this set for little gifts through the year.

If you are looking for a very large, HEAVY mixing bowl. . .look no further! This bowl was exactly what I had been searching for. It is definitely very high quality and will last a lifetime. This bowl should not dent. It has the heaviness and sturdiness of a very well made pot. You will not be disappointed.

It's perfect! Bought this to make flour tortillas. Recipe calls for 8 cups of flour-- we doubled this order and it fit in here with no problem. We even kneaded the dough in this bowl. Love the flat bottom! Most of these bowls hardly have any bottom. We even used this to wash/rinse dishes while camping. Easy to clean too!
