After losing our beloved Chihuahua of 14 years our 12 year old poodle totally changed. She started hiding, retreating, shaking, panting and it all happened overnight. We made frequent visits to the Vet to get her help. We tried so many meds and most had the opposite effect on her. She acted insane on two of them. I told the Vet no more. So I decided to try the calming chews. She loves these. They are the only thing that helps. It’s not a perfect solution for her but it takes the edge off and it does not make her worse. I highly recommend them. I give these to her on a regular basis, that seems to help too.

These were recommended by my vet. We had adopted a cat that was very stressed and urinating outside of the litter box. We found it was much less expensive on Amazon so have been purchasing it here for years. My cat won't eat it as a treat but will eat it crushed up into a powder in soft food. I thought I'd try stopping the supplement recently but when I did he urinated on a blanket. So he's back on it. I do think it helps calm him but he's still an anxious cat.

Our cats wouldn't eat them. They smelled good to me, but if the cats won't eat them they don't do us much good.

I have a tiny ninja bully cat (male, runt of the litter), and his sister who is built like a tank. She vomits under stress and doesn't know she's really the stronger of the two. They were only available to be adopted as a bonded pair, but the male was trying to kill my girl half a dozen times a day. It was horrible to hear when it would happen, she would scream so loud! I tried to separate them, but he always found a way to get to her. And she would proceed to decorate my home with piles of grossness. I tried all the plug-in products, they made everything worse. I didn't want to re-home the male, but I didn't know what else to do. Then I talked to my vet who suggested this product. I was surprised to find that the biggest change has been in my female cat. She is much less shy. She stands up for herself, she doesn't vomit anymore at all! She isn't afraid to cuddle anymore either. All the fighting was over me. My male bonded to me early and became extremely territorial. If I petted my female, she smelled like me, and the male would go after her. All that changed with Solliquin. The only problem is both cats HATE it. So I disguise the taste by grinding up a few Greenies with the Solliquin. They sort of tolerate it that way, but not always. I REALLY wish it came in other flavors. Edit: There is nothing left to hide this in so my cat's will eat it. I've exhausted every single option. They both walk out of the room if they even smell Soliquin now. So I had to downgrade my vote to one star. It works wonderful, but if I can't get it inside my cats, it doesn't work at all.

I had high hopes for this product for an aggressive cat and some issues I have currently with integration of cats. Unfortunately out of 9 cats I could not really get any of them to like this. One cat ate one once when she was super hungry one morning, then wouldn't eat it again. I honestly don't think it should be so hard to make a medicated treat tasty. It's the key to getting it in the animal. Crunchy works best, IMO, or simply serve it as a powder that is stirred into wet food. I gave it 2 stars only because I am happy something like this exists, and I'm glad you tried to make it, but it needs a lot of improvement.

My cat would yell every night in a new place. This calming treat helped him sleep through the night and adjust his behavior after two months

Unfortunately does not cure my dog paw licking, however kept as she likes it for a treat.
