My dogs love a bedtime schmako. They also know when they haven’t had a whole one - if I only have one left and split it, they come looking for the missing half. The same happened tonight when they got their favourite treat, one each, and they were astounded to find that much like snickers bars and freddo frogs (which they’d love to eat but aren’t allowed!), their beloved treats have shrunk in size. They are now narrower and 7 g each, when they were formally 9 g each. I’m not sure they’ll ever forgive you, Pedigree. You’re not their chum any longer...
