BRIOFOX Shower Curtain Rod 43-73 Inches Matte Black, Never Rust and Non-Fall Down Spring Tension Rod, Stainless Steel

Purchased this to replace a tension rod I used in my shower stall that had a spring go bad. This one appears sturdier and the ends are larger, which I am hoping means it will stay in place better. I chose the chrome version. It looks very nice with the chrome double sided hooks that I purchased to hang the liner and curtain. The area where the rod is hung is tile and the stickiness of the rubber ends seems to be an added benefit helping it stay in place.

Ordered a different shower curtain rod that also claimed to be stainless steel and it was just grey plastic. This is really solid real metal, pretty heavy in a good way (not like it’s gonna fall heavy), and a great nickel color that matches my other bathroom stuff well. I did buy the matching holders so can’t really say how well the tensions part works, but I will say I like that it’s a screw out/screw tight mechanism instead of being spring loaded. Would seem like you could make it hold tightly against the wall by itself.

Alright,so.. right off the bat... I recognize i'm writing a review for a metal tension rod for the shower. Weird right?For years, i delt with crappy shower rods from other stores. The rod would commonly fall down. Put up a wet towel and BOOM... rod falls to the floor.Not anymore baby. Not today. This shower rod is the bees knees. Easy to install, like any other tension rod, but immediately you can feel this baby is built to last. Strong. I can put 4 wet towels on it, no issues. The other day my wife hung a heavy blanket she is making from it for hours. Im fairly certain a small child or person could swing from this thing (please dont try it).I know it seems stupid, but if your like me and you came here looking for a solution to a problem thats probably been pissing you off your entire life, let me make this easy for you. This is the shower curtain rod you need and want. I've reviewed quite a few products here on amazon. You need this rod in your life, and you need it today (or tomorrow, or whenever shipping gets it to you).Questions? Its a shower rod.

Happy with this shower bar. Sturdy and was easy to install.Follow up: nice addition to bath. Should last for quite some time .

Put inmplace two years ago and has not moved in the slightest. I hang dry some clothes each week, and the added weight doesn't affect the rod. No sagging. Looks great. Buy it.

Shower rods have been an issue in my house for years. I had one from a big box store. You had to twist the ends bit by bit to tighten it, and pray it would stay up. It was a disaster and also caused my husband and I many screaming matches over the darn thing. Why would it always fall down at 11 p.m. -- and I'd have to get it back up so I could shower for work in the morning..... I told him there was nothing better -- until I found this!! WOW !! I installed it myself, so easy, it looks good, seems very sturdy, and has STAYED UP FOR 6 WEEKS SO FAR! Now there is more peace and less drama and arguments in my home. Worth every penny! I wanted to review it right after I installed it, but decided to wait until I had it up for awhile.***Edited April 2020 -- The rod started slipping on one side and we couldn't get it to stay up. I contacted the company and they are sending a new one free of charge !! WOW, talk about a company standing behind its product, what wonderful customer service! I've had the product since July of 2019. I really do love this rod regardless, it hasn't rusted at all and still looks just as good as the day I got it. Very happy customer :)

I never leave reviews but I was impressed. It's a beautiful bright gold that matches my polished brass towels bars, and is heavier duty than the more traditional tension rods. It's very easy to install, and does not unscrew itself unlike some of the other tension bars out there (I purchased one and had to return it because it wouldn't stay up). For the price, I was expecting more in terms of look and quality and I wasn't disappointed!

Awesome product. Has not even moved in the past three months. Way easier than screwing one in and messing up my new tiles in the shower.

Admittedly, I'm using this tension rod as a curtain rod due to the odd setup my apartment has. It's been 3 days since I've set it up. I purchased the max. extension of 73" and my windows is 72".If you're intent is to use the max capacity, I'd recommend requesting assistance as the length and needing to twist to make it study makes it nigh impossible to arrange on one's own.This supports the weight of 4 lightweight, "mesh" material curtains with ease.This was pretty expensive for what it is, but I wanted a gold rod for aesthetic purposes and it doesn't looks cheap, so it's nice for decor purpose.
