Specifications: This is an IBC adapter with brass bib tap and Snap-On Tap connector. Allows the attachment of a standard 1/2",3/4"garden hose in conjunction with a Snap-On hose connector. These fittings are Hoselock compatible. The tap also acts as useful back up safety valve, or for fine flow control. These items are supplied fully assembled and not in Kit Form. If your tank buttress is not an S60X6 (about 20% are not) you can purchase a Buttress Thread Converter which will convert the thread to the S60X6 you will require. Great design, needs stop for spigot threads.
These fit great and no leaks. 3 stars because there is no stop where the lid and spigot meet. It comes with lots of teflon tape on the spigot but it could just keep turning until it goes through the lid. Since there is no stop and I don't want the spigot to go all the way through the lid (thus causing gushing of water through lid/spigot connection), the spigot does not stay stationary. It continues to turn back & forth (without leaking) as I move my hose. This is not acceptable as the movement will degrade the teflon tape and I will have to keep retaping (not to mention the wear on the lid threads).I will attempt to weld a stop on the end of the spigot threads as I do like the design. Will see how this works.
