Chef Works Unisex Striped Bib Apron

Allow me to tell you why this was exactly what I was looking for.This apron is not white, so it will not show stains and marks. This is good!This apron is heavy, but not stiff. Water will not soak through and soil your clothes. This is also good!The neck on this apron adjusts, so you can make sure it is not choking you or hanging down too low. Too low=bad. Choking=bad.This apron can be washed in a clothes washer and will not get damaged by this. This is good because, you know, clean aprons are cool. Further, the apron seems well constructed. The seams are sewed properly and nothing seems poorly manufactured.This apron isn't too long. I have it adjusted to stop just above my knees.This apron has 2 pockets in front, big enough to get my fists in to. This really isn't that helpful for me, because I don't carry cooking utensils in my pockets, but if you need that feature...don't stress. They're there if you need 'em.This is apron looks professional. Look like the kitchen Boss that you are! Grrrrr!Lastly, this apron's string-ties are long enough to wrap around and tie in front of you. The picture shows this as well.I'm 5 foot 8, about 140 lbs, for reference.Overall, a great apron for a fair price.

I have never owned an apron because I didn't think I would like the feel of it but I have to say I LOVE THIS APRON. I love to bake and cook and I always seem to get splashed or lean against the kitchen counter and get something on my clothes. Finally decided it's time to find an apron to protect my clothing. I'm SO GLAD I DID. This apron is comfortable and comes down to my knees without getting in my way or without me feeling I have something flopping around in my way. The tie wraps around your back and will tie in front so you can hang a kitchen towel from (very handy) and great pockets. Everything lays flat and smooth. I bought the grey/red stripe and love the colors. The neck is adjustable also so it will fit anyone. I am going to order a backup so if one is in the wash, I won't be without it. Also plan to order a couple as gifts. Very high quality - PERFECT.

I just want to keep flying grease off my shirts. This apron is made of a sort of heavy gabardine fabric. There are two pockets in the front, which are matched to the stripes they are sewn on to, so they are a continuation of the stripe line all the way down the apron. A very nice touch. The edges of the bib part are covered with a self-fabric band. The strap that goes around the neck has an adjustable buckle on it. The waist ties are long enough to come around the front even on me, and I am a rather large woman.That is all the good stuff I can think of now. Here's the bad. This is made in Bangladesh. I am assuming this is not made by children in a sweatshop. The sewing is too good and too meticulous to have been done by a child. Hopefully, this is giving some adult who really needs it a good living.

I got this for every day cooking. I am only 5'5'' so it is a bit long on me but it isn't a problem. I have much cuter "girly" aprons but this is a great work horse. The material is thick and sturdy. The tie is long enough to go around front so you can hang things off of it. I don't particularly like having it tied in the front and it is a bit long to leave in the back but again, not really a problem. I didn't really care what it looked like and I ended up getting the grey and red one but it looks pretty sharp. I imagine this would work great with anyone, short or tall.Interestingly enough my 9 month old son loves it as well. He likes to have me put it on the ground and play with it. I know that has nothing to do with anything but there you have it.

These aprons are wonderful! The adjustable neck ensures that they fit both my better half, who is 5'10", and myself (5'0"), and the apron strings are long enough that both of us can wrap them around and tie them in front. I have waist-length hair, and an added benefit for me is that the neck strap holds back the tendrils of hair that always seem to escape while I'm cooking. Spills don't seem to soak through the apron material onto our clothes, and the aprons wash (and dry) beautifully, keeping their size and shape and coming out wrinkle-free. I'm really glad we got them!

In the description says it is adjustable neck. But it is not, very disappointed, becuase I've bought it because off that.

Love this apron and the front pockets.I wear everyday at work! Three stars due to the fact the clip for adjusting neck strap has broken on all five aprons in the wash. But still useable.

The Chef Works Bib Apron exceeds my expectations. Good quality medium weight cotton, and a design that covers me well. I like the extra long ties that can be fastened in front. The neck loop is adjustable and there are two deep pockets in front. I'm 5'6" and the apron comes to top of my knees. Washes well and no ironing needed. So happy with this purchase that I'll likely buy another in different colors. Excellent value for price paid.
