Although this seed did not germinate as quickly as it says on the box, that could have been for a number of outside influences such as the weather. However, once it did germinate, I now have a lush green extension to the existing lawn which puts the rest to shame.

Bought this to start a new patch of grass where a veg plot had been. I prepared the ground well and added additional compost along with a generous covering of seed. This was in mid April in Southern UK, so daytime temp around 15 centigrade and 12 hours of sun. 8 days since planting I can barely see any signs of life apart from an Asparagus and a Rhubarb which managed to evade me. Box said results after 4 days, this is certainly not the case for me. I’m hopeful that it will be worth the wait in the end, but for now it’s looking a bit sad. On a positive, it has a great dispenser and scatters very well.

After recently getting a puppy who has damaged & torn up my lawn on many occasions I've bought alot of grass seed to patch areas over the past few months. This one is probably my favourite, as advertised it does start growing quicker than others & I've found longer term (weeks) it doesn't grow too quickly, where as I've found others become quite hard to cut in a surprisingly short amount of time. After patching the lawn 2 weeks ago, i was doubtful as weather isn't really suitable (coming to the end of season) but regardless it started sprouting through after about a week. Pics are from a month or two ago and today, hardly a designer lawn at the moment but that's the joys of a puppy & endessly rainy weather. Tip: I put down some spare pen/cage walls on top of the lawn to stop him digging at the seed etc, it seems to work & the grass grows.

Sown late Sep and early Oct. Little or no germination after 3 weeks front lawn (Trellis) and 2 weeks back lawn despite regular watering. The lush grass surrounding the patches on the front lawn was from overseeding in the summer using the left-overs from an older packet!!
