The Best IR/Probe Thermometer Tool Ever
Klein Tools IR07 Dual IR/Probe Thermometer is the best tool I have ever used and an everyday carry for me and should be part of every HVAC Technicians tool collection. Superfast, accurate readout makes taking Delta Temp’s a breeze. Both IR and Probe uses makes it very versatile in taking temperature measurements anywhere. Put the probe in a Supply, Return or Ductwork and get a reading. Use it to verify a Thermostat, use it to measure temperature in vents to high to reach. This tool gets the job done. Large easy to read and backlit readout sets it apart from the others, even the other Klein Tools temperature probes that I have used. Fastest response time to read temperature I have seen. I’ve used it in many different situations and it never fails to deliver. I highly recommend this tool. Add it to your tool collection, you will not be sorry.

Awesome tool.
Love this thing. Easy to use, great accurate function. Does all the stuff that my fieldpiece did for a third the price. This tool is crucial for the work I do, I use it for checking delta T and temp rise on HVAC systems. Awesome tool, very pleased.

It’s not up to old Klein Tools standards, but it’s a quality product that works well.
I have many Klein Tools. Love the quality. That’s why I paid $50 for this combination instant read probe & IR thermometer. It’s works very well. Did not need temp adjustment as it’s right on temp. We all fry stuff with oil too hot. You shouldn’t be over 400, and not under 350. If your oil is smoking, it’s too hot or wrong oil! It’s hard to know on even a good stove or grill. I guess if you have induction burners you can keep oil temp at or below 400F. Anyway most need this tool to know for sure. One nitpicking fact tho. It’s left handed! Yes if you use your right hand to measure temp either probe or IR the display will be upside down. I am VERY right handed, thus uncoordinated left, so I find that annoying. You’d think Klein engineers would have programmed a setting where you can change that readout. My Thermapen MK4 screen rotates as you move it. Idea for a revision “B” Klein Tools engineers (no charge)

Great for grilling/ outdoor cooking
Very convenient for outdoor grilling I can check temperature of the grill or pan (it) with the same device I use to check food temperature with the probe end. It seems quite a bit sturdier than other instant read thermometers I own, even a high end one that cost three times as much. Very accurate and quick.
