What is it?
I have purchased a number of warranties along with purchases from Amazon. However, I have reached a decision to cease such warranty purchases. In each instance I receive an email for the warranty, BUT there is literally NOTHING in the missive that identifies what the warranty covers, e.g., which product. If I forget to perform research right then to match up purchases with the amount charged for the warranty, it is impossible to identify the warranty/product match. COULD IT BE POSSIBLE THAT THIS IS DONE WITH MALICE AFORETHOUGHT? It sure would save the potential future claims if the customer was not able to determine which warranty went with which purchase!

Why Did I Buy This?
I was under the impression that all extended warranties went into effect AFTER the mfg. warranty expired. However your plan states, after it was purchased, that is warrants the item for 4 years from purchase date. The item comes with a 5 year warranty so, as I said, Why DId I Buy This?????? Maybe a better question is WHY IS AMAZON OFFERING IT????

Plan description misleading.
I purchased the asurion Kitchen protection plan because it says "covers drops, spills"...etc. in the product description it even includes graphics of various products. (Yes I know it says "cracked screen" but because there whole campaign says "Made simpler" I figured they just describe all products covered) I purchased to cover my GF grill. (Which I had just replaced because my first one fell and broke..I thought "great IF it were to happen again I am covered!"Well, it did happen again...no problem I bought the plan! Well, as I was explained to by an asurion representative ...that coverage is only on electronics. I told her that their information is misleading as it does not specify. If it is the product information that is attached to the Kitchen Policy then it should state it's policy..or be more specific.I know it wasn't much $$, but it is misleading. So just beware and read all the links for "more policy info" before you purchase.

No complaints! Simple and efficient claim filing!!
One of the few companies that will allow you to talk to them over the phone and do not make it a tedious experience to file a claim. They cover shipping all around and are very respectful and pleasant.

MISLEADING! Won’t cover “drops”!
MISLEADING! Will not cover “drops” for kitchen items!!! Oh how I wish I had read the negative reviews before purchasing this protection plan for my small kitchen appliance because I had the same problem. I purchased the “kitchen protection plan” for a Vitamix blender container and then saw in the features and details that the plan covers “drops, etc...” and thought this is exactly what I need! But nope! Only “drops” of portable electronics is covered. Dropped portable electronics in the “KITCHEN protection plan”? I know it says dropped screens but I thought well this is a “kitchen protection plan” so they must mean “drops” of “kitchen” items. No. They don’t. They mean dropped portable electronics for which you would not even BUY a “KITCHEN PROTECTION PLAN”. Very misleading. I regret buying.

Stand behind their Protection Plan
I purchased an electric teapot just about 2 years ago. It totally stopped working. I did buy the Asurion Protection Plan for this item when I purchased the teapot. So happy I did. I contacted Asurion and they sent me a prepaid UPS label to send the item back. Within 4 hours I received an Amazon gift card for the entire original purchase price of the teapot.I immediately purchased another teapot….more expensive than the original teapot. But I absolutely did not hesitate to purchase another Asurion Protection Plan for the new teapot.Very easy to work with Asurion and they stand behind their protection plan.

The peace of mind and convenience! 🙌🏿
Bought the blender as a gift for a very valuable customer and friend so bought the protection plan to make sure he didn't have any complications if it malfunctioned for any reason.*Emailed paperwork ended up in my Junk folder so check for that. However, protection can be accessed from my orders section so I don't really need the email. 🙌🏿
