Durability remains to be seen as we have used it only a few days. I usually end up having to get new ones every few months and I have an old 20 lb Dog. We do walk a couple miles daily though.It is now August 15 and it is still working fine. Love the light in the fall winter and the attached bag holder. Just have to be careful that the cord doesn’t get twisted.

I have a 20 lb dog who likes to bound so wanted a retractable leash. When I first got the leash it worked great but only 5 weeks in it no longer retracts completely. Has almost 6 feet of leash and then just stops. I've tried pulling it out further, retracting it slowly, etc. Useless at this point to use because I have to keep the extra part in my hand when he is walking close to me and can't retract to a short leash if need be. I already ordered a 2nd one as a backup but now will be looking for a third, longer lasting one for when this one stops working properly in a month. So disappointed

My puppy likes to explore the neighborhood and the short leash I had wasn't doing the trick anymore. This leash solves all my problems as it allows my puppy more room to roam but if a car comes and I want to shorten leash I just click the lock button. Overall a good purchase for us.

As i was walking my 11 lbs dog the leash broke after we was running i have not had this thing 2 months do not buy this thing

Not satisfied at all. Within the second week of purchase the nylon started tearing. My dog is a small Morkie 5 pounds. This should of held up better. Will not be buying again.

We bought two for our small (8 lb) Yorkies. One broke about 2 weeks into using it, and the other just broke this weekend. These aren’t made well at all. Our previous retractable leash lasted for 9 years- had higher hopes for this.

haven't used it as of yet...a little larger than expected, but better a little sturdier than not...Little difficult to engage lock when your whole hand is in holder.

I used the leash for three days with my Chihuahua and it stopped lockingneasily. It will still lock but I have to play with it to make it work.
