EXPENSIVE ,BUT GOOD QUALITY

I did wait until my old iron grates were pretty well done, though.These are EXCELLENT and I highly recommend them to retrofit your old Genesis.That said - kudos to Weber otherwise as my grill is close to 15 years old and still going strong.

Mine is a somewhat special edition Genesis grill made right before the Genesis 2 series came out so replacement parts aren't always easy to find, but these dropped right in. Side by side they're darn near exactly the same as the original grates that came with the grill. I can't speak for longevity yet as they just delivered today, but in my area I usually get 2-3 years tops no matter what brand I get and sine these are about 1/3 of the Weber branded parts I figure I'll give these a shot.

I purchased a set of these grills in 2020. I just noticed that some of the wires are delaminating and splitting. They seemed fine until now. I reported through Amazon.

Have a Weber Genesis Series 300 grill. Have gone through two iron grates that developed rust. Discovered that after-market grates are available in stainless steel. Ordered. Not only are they sturdy and easy to clean, my self starter stopped working after many years. I use an electric stick starter. The spacing on the stainless steel grates have addition space between each bar. Makes it much easier to light the grill
