When I received this I was impressed at how compact yet sturdy it was. It looks very durable. I popped the sticky pad on the back and secured it to my dash and found it easy to Install apart from fact that I had to take the protective case off my phone or the magnets wouldn't hold the phone,hence the 4 star. However it does say this in the description and as I intend to use it in car for Google maps, as a Sat Nav its not an issue. Its easy to swivel and change from vertical to horizontal so it's quite versatile.

I bought multiple holders for a latest Merc E Class and this one is the only one that works perfectly. All others fall off after the while due to all the curves on the dashboard.

I was looking for a magnetic phone holder for my Hyundai Ioniq, and the PLDHPRO phone holder seemed perfect for my needs - it claims to be versatile and discreet, with powerful magnets to hold most smartphones. Sadly, the product is badly let down by its adhesive base. The unit failed to stick to my dashboard, making it completely useless to me. Unless your car has a solid, completely flat (non-textured) plastic dashboard, you should be very wary of purchasing this product. None of the example placements shown in the marketing photos for this product held my Samsung Galaxy S9 in place - the unit (and my phone) fell off immediately, as soon as the extra weight of my device was added.

I have an iPhone 6 so keep that in mind regarding weight. It held fast and stuck fine. I am in a colder climate though.
