WenVen Women's Winter Warm Sherpa Lined Jacket Heavy Parka Coat with Hood

While most of my XL clothing is fitting better since some weight loss, I opted for the XL coat but had to send it back for sizing. I'm 5'3" at 180 lbs and very curvaceous and busty . I got it zipped up but it was snug over summer clothing. I debated on the 2XL wondering how much bigger it might be. Size charts change just about every 5-7 years and I believe we're in another size chart shift. I wish they wouldn't do that. I jumped right to the 3XL and it's perfect. While I expect to keep losing weight slowly I believe this coat will be very comfortable over sweaters and sweat shirts. The sherpa lining is luscious. I noticed in one review that the sherpa was a darker color than the purchaser would have expected but mine was a lovely cream color. My only issue is that I could only get the 3XL in black when I would have loved it in the red or navy. But it's a beautiful black shade. I will keep checking to see if the 3XL comes in the other colors and grab another one. Both coats will last me for many years. Things I love about this coat: - Cuffed sleeves - Sherpa hood removable - Covers the butt. I noticed the smaller size didn't do that. - Option to use the snaps OR the zipper for closure - Closes over the neck and up to your throat to keep out the wind - Machine washable - Breast pocket and double hand pockets fall in the right place - The price is wonderful - It's just plain pretty Things I'm not crazy about, but I can live with: - Machine washable but don't tumble dry. Understandable when the outer shell is 100% cotton. High heat would cause shrinkage and after repeated dryings, the lining might begin hanging below the outer shell. When it came out of the package I don't have to tell you how wrinkled it was but I tossed it in the dryer on low for 10 minutes with a wet kitchen towel and that brought 95% improvement - The zipper is a little tricky to get together with the front placket being so demanding of space but once you get it hooked together it works easily and feels sturdy. All in all, I'm thrilled with the coat. It feels good while wearing and I believe the sherpa will keep you warm in some seriously cold temperatures. Also, I expect the sherpa to cut the static I was experiencing with the slippery lining in my old coat. Just getting out of the car caused the annoying spark when touching the metal on the car door. I recommend this item.

I love this coat! It's so warm and cozy without being bulky. The Sherpa lining is soft and warm. The sleeves are quilted so they're even nice and warm. The knit cuffs at the wrist keep the wind out and there's a draw string of your want to cinch the waist. I've worn it in 30° weather and didn't feel cold at all. And as a bonus, it looks great too! The outer fabric is like a cotton twill and is somewhat rain resistant (out in light rain/drizzle and it didn't get soaked, the water kind of beaded on it). The hood is generous, but but so big that a breeze blows it off or it covers your eyes. It's also sherpa lined. I like the snaps at the neck that keep the hood in place and keep your neck warm. I normally wear a medium but I bought a large in case I wanted to wear layers but I haven't had to yet. I like that it's a little big on me. I think the medium would have fit just right but wouldn't have allowed for any layering. It's got nice deep pockets and a sturdy zipper. I'm very happy with this purchase!

I really like this coat. I wanted something warm and soft fabric, not slick fabric like a ski coat and not a light jacket. It is a bit heavier then expected. The outer shell is a very soft fabric. People comment about it arriving wrinkled. Well of course it would, it comes folded in a box, “not hanging on a hanger”. I just misted it with water and tumbled it for about 5-10 minutes, worked great! Inner lining is not super high quality but it will definitely be nice and warm. It is more of a yellow color and not a nice pretty cream color. I like that the hood is removable and it has wrap around the face snaps for our Wyoming weather. I am 5’ 2” , 130 lbs and not very busty. I bought a medium. It is a tad snug in the shoulders but it is fine. The draw string is a tad high on the waist but it is fine. The bust is a little big for me. I’m glad I got a medium because a large may have fit better in the shoulders but it would have been way too big in the body. Hope this helps

I'm on my 3rd winter with this coat. It is so warm. I love the sherpa. Great quality and soft fabric. It has a big hood which I love. I paid $60 for it I thought it was a little pricey. The zipper still works great no fraying like new. It's easy to wash. I bought an XL and it fits great. It has so many pockets and they are warm as well. I love the color. I got the green one. The hood is detachable if you want to go without. Overall its paid for itself keeping me warm every winter. My daughter even wants one but it has gone up in price not happy about that but I know it is a great coat. I may hold out to see if the price drops back down to the 60's so we'll see.

This is a fantastic jacket for cold but not wet, weather. I love almost everything about it. What I did not like was the collar lining. It felt as if there was a pillow stuffed around my neck. So I cut open the collar and removed the stuffing, yes, it was stuffed just like a plushy. I pulled it all out and now I will not strangle myself with it when I button it up. The jacket is warm and is holding up amazingly after almost a year. I live in California so the coldest it gets where I am is low 30s. I can not say how it would fair in real weather. I can most definitely say it is not a rain coat so beware of soggy jacket syndrome if you are caught in anything heavier than a drizzle. It fits so well and the hood works great. I would absolutely buy this again. If I needed this jacket for anything other than a California winter I would not have removed collar stuffing. I imagine that would be extremely beneficial in snow. Update. 2 years and the jacket is still just as warm. It's only gotten more comfortable over time. I wish I could find one without the stuffing in the neck, I I know that that stuffing would be needed if I was in a colder climate. I spilled bleach on mine this morning so now I'm in the market for a new one

After wearing this jacket for about 3 weeks, the zipper started coming apart at the bottom after zipping. Otherwise I like the jacket. Didn’t think I’d have zipper issues so soon. The jacket fabric is soft, durable, warm and stylish. The Sherpa lining is super soft and exceptionally warm. I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and fall and winter can be very cold and wet. The hood is big enough to wear a hat under it. You really don’t need to since it has Sherpa lining in it also. Seems to be well made with quality materials. Over all a great jacket. Just needs a better zipper. Size fits perfectly.

The coat is nice. I'm 5'7" and 165. I ordered a large which should have been perfect, but was a little snug, especially in the arms. I ordered the xl which is a lot roomier. I decided to go with the xl because it was much more comfortable. It hasn't been that cold here recently but it seems like it will be pretty warm! Now to get the wrinkles out!! The pockets are perfect and the price was good.

This coat is fantastic! The length is just right, and even the sleeves fit perfectly without swallowing my hands like so many other jackets do. The color is exactly what I wanted, and best of all, it actually keeps me warm. Cold, gusty air doesn’t cut through, which makes a huge difference on chilly days. Love this Jacket, since the surface is made by 100% cotton, wear it feel so comfortable. I like this design and it is pretty fashionable.

This jacket quality is excellent and looks great! The material and workmanship is top quality. The color is exactly as shown. I had purchased a size medium but exchanged for a large and it fit perfectly. I am 5'8" and 142 lb. The medium was a bit snug for a winter jacket and too short in the back. The large is perfect. I highly recommend this jacket.

It is a beautiful coat, did come all wrinkled but that was easy to resolve but I just noticed that half of the top snap on coat is missing. That is disappointing. Love the color. I bought brown. I usually take xlarge but ordered xxlarge, a little big but I don't mind that, I like that it is not snug and room to layer.

I wore it a few times and it was warm enough for fall days. I ended up giving it away though because the fit was quite wide, not as fitted as the picture looked. Also, the sleeves weren't as long as I hoped they would be. I'm 5'10 ,200 ish lbs for reference

Gorgeous jacket. Super warm. The arms have a quilted thick material that is warm. Made on the slim side so not a bulky jacket. Sturdy zippers and seams. Definitely a great choice for the price!
