SPW Hunter ICC2 Faceplate/Main Module & Cable ICCFPUP2 Upgrade ICC Front Panel

This was the easiest DIY project ever. My Hunter ICC controller stopped working, my landscape guy suggested buying the new ICC2. He said it would fit the old box. I was skeptical but it fit perfectly. The ICC2 faceplate and power connection was an exact fit. The new controller fit and controls the valves with more flexibility than the ICC model. A whole new controller installed would have cost me $600 more than the ICC2 replacement. So pleased with Hunter.

This is a great upgrade of my old Hunter control box panel. Really like the app on my phone to control my watering needs. Highly recommend for those systems where it's compatible.

This is the worst controller I have ever purchased. I have been a Hunter user since 2003, couldn't get support, refund or replacement of a ICC2 that lost its brain. My app required use of 2 programs, 4 days a week, 1 start time (each). This controller when off, populated all eight start times, reset seasonal adjustments and changed run times of one of my 2 zones. I did a hard reset after discovering all these defects and concluding that it wasn't me. The trouble persisted after the hard reset and reprograming and I could only trust manual on and off for the zones before winter shut down. Hunter advised I need a software upgrade, but this product was not upgradeable, therefore I'm out of luck. Last thing I will buy from Hunter this had great features that didn't work worth a crap and cost me some pretty significant water charges.

Mine was a 2017 model and did not need any of the accessories included. Super easy change out. Don’t forget to activate the battery backup on lithium coin battery. The 9v battery is optional. The coin battery stores memory.

The HCC FPUP is newer, digital, has built in WiFi and replaces the ICC2 FPUP. The ICC2 unit is obsolete in comparison.

The install was easy and it work as expected. Was new in the box and all pieces was there. It replaced my older model ICC unit purchased in I believe 2000. Very please with having the tech support available but didn't need them but tech support contacted me to see if I needed anything.

Very easy to install and is working very well, Old ICC had failed and with Hunter design, you just replace the "Computer and Display",. and it is 100% compatible with the stations wiring. I understand ICC2 is more reliable than ICC, and it is definitely an improvement over the original. The case is still old, but who cares.

Original Hunter Lawn Sprinkler Controller was starting to act abnormal and needed to be replaced. this new unit fits right into old case and with just a screwdriver and a few minutes to swap over a few wires it is ready to program. (directions did not warn about shutting off electric before swapping units)
