This product is more reliable than the craftsmanship of most qualifying products sold in today’s market. I view it as an essential….as such over the last decade I’ve purchased and used “without” shenanigans an Assurion plan about 10-times. EXCELLENT plans and customer service!!

If you forgot to include the protection plan when ordering, no worries because you can call Asurion to purchase the plan. You will have to contact Amazon customer service, a d they'll provide you with the code for the protection plan so you won't have to reorder your product and avoid returning it.

I don't like purchasing insurance on products because too often the hassle to get something replaced isn't worth the bother or extra money, but for a few dollars, I thought I'd chance it when I bought my Fitbit. Turns out, it was worth every penny, and the coverage under ASURION was better than the Fitbit that dimmed so badly I couldn't read it anymore. My husband had the same issue with his Fitbit and had the same insurance coverage. The process of refunding/replacing through ASURION for both of us was quick and easy, resulting in a prepaid return label that, as soon as the item was dropped off at UPS and scanned, resulted in a quick refund (credit). Fast and easy, no hassle. Definitely worth it.

They replaced what I paid for on a faulty PlayStation 5 controller that had drift. Very easy claim. This is the second time I’ve had them help me out with one.

Most people mistakenly call these warranties including myself as that is how they are presented. Some people call them a product replacement plan which is isn’t right either as they give you what you paid minus the cost of the plan not an adjusted market value. Rather these need to be stated as a single premium insurance plan. That said after the wording is clarified they are generally good value for money and I buy them on most electronics over $20 usd as the roi is pretty good especially for mobile products.
