White Fountain Pen Ink, 45 mL Glass Bottle

I put this white ink in my TWISBI fountain pen and it works awesome! Before I found this ink I was using Gellyroll white ballpoint pens. But Gellyroll pens have their own flaws: They often dry up, they lay down uneven lines, and the thin ones barely work at all. This De Atramentis white solves all those problems. I have used it successfully with both a glass dip pen and my TWISBI. The TWISBI fountain pen handles this ink just fine. I've had it in my pen for weeks now, it doesn't dry up. Caution is advised of course...you need to draw a little every couple of days...think of it as maintenance. Keep the flow fresh. Make sure your pen is very, very clean before putting the white in. I finally had to flush out the first white load with water. Then reload it with fresh white and I finally got a white that equalled the Gellyroll whiteness. Very happy with this white ink. It's as good as you'd hope it would be for drawing on a toned surface like Strathmore gray.

I am using this ink in my new TWSBI ECO pen ( a white one) and it is writing so smoothly with no skips or hesitations. It is great. Easy to fill the pen from this bottle, also.

I purchased this for my fountain pens. I love it, works as described, can water it down as it is thicker and writes dryer than some inks. Good semi translucent ink.
