Dorman 576-342 Front Fuel Tank Compatible with Select Chevrolet/GMC Models

I ordered the wrong tank the first time, but customer service quickly replaced it with the correct one. Very pleased with my purchase. I bought this for my 2000 Chevy K3500. I now know what "pan in the tank means". This one does not have the pan, but did have the larger hole for my fuel pump. The one (576-341) that has the pan in the tank has a smaller hole for the fuel pump so it didn't work. I didn't expect a lot since I didn't pay a lot for this tank, but I was pleasantly surprised. It will outlast my truck, so I'm happy. I would have liked to have the measurements for the fuel pump hole in the description. That might have saved my from messing up. The tank was probably a solid 4 stars, but they got 5 stars because of the ease and speed in which they dealt with my error.

I've ordered tanks before and you can expect dent's and scatch's on them,this order was no differnt. As long as there are no puncture's you will be fine. This tank is coated and a bargain delivered to my front door.

Is not factory sized or stamped the same filler neck is not high enough to clear frame rail and tank is 3-4 inches too long to clear rear end hoping seller honors refund.

Was listed as fitting my year truck but was the wrong tank. Was $113.00 and was going to cost me $ 124.00 to send it back. I wouldn't do it again. And I'm still out a tank and have one I can't use.
