Absolutely love this comb, smooth teeth and lovely, not plastic.

I bought this five years ago to go with my Ren Faire Costume Kit. I left it in the leather sheath I made for it and put it in my purse. It lives there happily and ready for "Emergency Hair Detanglement". The horn comb is thicker than modern plastic, but its just as effective as any modern device. It has character and it's obvious it was my by hand, expertly crafted. Easy to clean and super durable. The stoutness of its manufacture makes it durable. An excellent purchase.

I love this comb. I've been using it for several months now, and it's never let me down.

Update! I still have this comb and love it! I use it every day. Has been dropped and did not break. Very sturdy.I had long wavy hair when I bought this comb. I ended up not using it because it would not easily glide through my hair as some reviews suggested. It would not get the snarls out. Not long after I cut several inches off my hair and tried the comb again. It worked a lot better on the shorter length, wet and dry. It does reduce the frizz and my hair has a nice shine to it. The comb did have a slight odor when I used it on wet hair, but was not very strong, and went away as soon as the comb was dry.

I got thick hair. I oiled this comb with jojoba and tea tree oil as soon as i got it and plan to once every 2 months. It works, doesnt tug on my hair at all and makes things look better especially in a pinch (no haircut for month(s)). Im not a high maintenance hair guy nor have i used many combs, but this is great for me and have zero complaints. To me, its way better than kent which seemed to not work for my hair type.

Great little comb, with the focus being on little. It goes thru my thick, curly hair well, but it is very small. If my hair were still longer than chin length, this wouldn't be a good bet for me.

This horn comb is beautifully made. I have several. With very fine hair, I appreciate that it never creates any static. No more tangles and misery.

Has seams. I didn't want seams.
