I bought this men’s vented hairbrush to replace my old beat-up one, and it does exactly what I needed. It’s lightweight, the vents help the air from the dryer move through my hair so it dries a little faster, and the handle has a nice grippy texture that doesn’t slip even when my hands are a bit damp. The bristles are firm enough to detangle without feeling harsh on the scalp, so I can actually give my hair a good brush without it hurting. If I’m being picky, the brush feels a bit more plasticky than my last one and I kind of wish the handle was just a touch longer, but for the price it’s definitly hard to complain. Overall, it’s a simple, no-drama brush that works as expected and is great for everyday use.

Purchased this item to replace one previously purchased from Amazon that was lost. I have several of these brushes, including a couple by the original brand name that made this vent brush design famous years ago (you cannot find those anymore). Except for a slightly shinier finish than my old vent brand name brushes, these appear to be visually and functionally identical. They work extremely well. One of my older ones from Amazon had a chip on one of the vented edges which did not change the performance or functionality but might mean the plastic could be more brittle than the old brand name brushes that have held up well, but perhaps not. I didn't rate drying because I don't use a blow dryer with my hair. Cannot imagine that they would not work well for that however. Overall, very satisfied and would recommend the product.

The brush works well and lifts my hair nicely as I use it. But although it's listed as a man's brush, I bought it as a female, and I find it a bit large - larger than I expected. That being said, it's great.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This is the closest brush to the original “vent” brush from years ago I could find. I love it! A little stiff bristles at first, but feels great to scalp! Same size as the original one! I’m a happy camper! I almost cried when I laid the original one to rest. It has been by my side for so many years I can’t count, with bent bristles and missing ones!

I thought this would be a salon quality hair brush for the cost. Instead it was a cheap dollar store quality item. Do not buy this. Smaller than a standard vent brush. Made of hard, brittle plastic.

Holds up great to blow drying

It does a great job for it’s purpose, I like the bristles setup, makes it easier for me to style my hair the way I want to. However, a huge downside, after just over a month of use bits and pieces of the brush began to chip off along with the bristles. I don’t know why, I’ve never dropped it or dropped anything on it. Do not recommend it, better quality available elsewhere.
