A perfect way to use aluminum pots and pans on an induction cooktop.
I love this product. I Purchased the Rainbean 9.25 inch induction cooktop diffuser - primarily to make Cuban coffee in an aluminum 3-cup coffee maker. I have a 4-year old Nuwave Pro induction cooktop. It is faster and much more efficient than an electric stove but like all induction cooktop‘s will not work with aluminum pots, pans, etc. So, now I can use the aluminum Cuban coffee pot with my Nuwave pro cooktop using this new induction cooktop diffuser. I have read reviews about induction cooktop diffusers warping and bending and was concerned. But, I have had absolutely no problem with the RainBean diffuser. Through some trial and error I found out that I can put the Nuwave induction cooktop on Medium heat (which indicates 275°F on the display) and it quickly boils the water and makes the coffee with no issues at all - and much faster than my electric glass-top stove. I tried using lower and higher temperatures but discovered that the Medium setting works perfectly. I’ve seen no discoloration or warping issues so far it was a perfect solution for using the induction cooktop to heat up an aluminum coffee pot. The Rainbean looks nice, is sturdy, and works perfectly as a way to use an induction cooktop with aluminum products.

It works
I used this for a pan that is aluminum. It works, but... I think I'll just go ahead and get another pan. This plate, the cooktop, and the pan bottom must be perfectly clean and dry. The plate heats up as well as the pan and sizzles and cooks anything touching it. The diffuser plate stays hot long after the cooktop and pan has cooled. It works, but awkwardly. Nothing is wrong with this specific product -- the handle is very long so it doesn't get in the way of cooking, and you can stay away from the heat when it is removed from the cooktop. The plate is thick and solid; no bending there! As far as the plate goes -- this one is a good one to get. But, IMO, it might be better to just get a new few pans to work with the induction cooktop.

Not the best but ok
It doesn’t heat very well. I have an aluminum pressure cooker that I wanted to use on the induction cooker and thought this woulda help since aluminum can’t be used on it. Enough heat could not be built up in the pot for it to start pressuring the meat. It does work for smaller tasks but I’m just not very impressed with it.

Great for MOKA pots
I purchased a Bialetti Moka pot recently, and while it works on my gas stove, my burner tops are such that the pot seemed unstable. Even on the lowest flame, the pot handle was exposed to high heat. While using the diffuser adds a few minutes to the process, the stability of the pot is excellent now, and the handle stays cool .

disappointed
Well made, easy to clean and use. But did not work well on my Whirlpool induction stove. Tried to make coffee in a glass percolator, after 20 minutes water was still not boiling, diffuser got too hot and the stove gave an error message. This would probably work if you were cooking some eggs, but does not work if you need to boil water.FYI on my stove with a good induction pan 2-3 cups of water will be boiling in a few seconds; 2 quarts will be boiling in 2-3 minutes; about 2 minutes to make espresso with my stove top induction espresso maker. My advice is to get a proper induction pot or pan rather than use a diffuser on your induction stove - it will save you time and be much more energy efficient.

Well made and handle folds for compact
I have a countertop induction single burner. I have 2 sets of cookware one does not work on induction, the other set does, but if the pan sides are slanted it will not work, only on those pans with straight sides. I purchased this adapter plate for use with both sets. I am happy to say it does work with the set that doesn't work on the induction. I just assume that it will with one with slanted sides. You get the same induction speed when cooking. I like the fact that the handle folds up out of the way. I just wish the handle was able to to squeeze together where it could be removed when cooking. But maybe leaving the handle on is a safety feature.

Works great
Using this on my electric stove coil element to give a solid heating surface. Very pleased with the construction and performance.
