The band was to replace a broken band on a Timex Expedition watch.I've had the band for a few weeks and wear the watch often. The band feels sturdy. The material feels like a mix of plastic and rubber or just a firm type of rubber. The buckle is plastic but I don’t expect that to be an issue.While wearing the watch I just pulled on the band and can't think of a weak point where the band could break. From the picture is hard to tell, but the end that goes up against the watch flares out quite a bit and I was afraid it would stick out and be way noticeable. It is a little bit noticeable on me but not enough to return it or not use it. My wrist is about 6.5 - 6.75 inches. The band would fit better on someone with a larger wrist so the ends lay flatter in relation to the bezel or could look better on a watch that the bezel is thicker than 12 mm.The only thing that bothers me is, there isn't a lot of flex on the band and when wearing it I either get a really snug fit or is a bit loose. That could also be because of my wrist size.Update 2019The band lasted for approximately 3 yrs. I wear this watch everyday, i wear it to the beach, wear it when I go out, when doing work around the house, working on the car, wear it to work ... everywhere. I've had many watches though the years, the watchbands mostly always need to be replaced at some point, It really depends on how much and how you wear it. This band is really good for a bard that's worn everyday and everywhere.Bought a replacement and wearing it now!

I'm renewing my old watches so I needed a new band for my Casio AQ-160 analog/digital watch. This band looks like the original. The only issue was that it was really difficult to get the spring bars to align to the holes in the watch case. The thickness of the band where the bar pins are inserted is enough that the band does not align with the holes in the case. I wonder if this band is thicker than the original band? It was a struggle to finally get the pins to go in and it doesn't leave me with a lot of confidence that they will be reliably retained.

The band is was returned because of a sizing problem. I have not heard anything about my credit yet. It as returned via UPS with proper credentials enclosed. Thank you. David

Granted, I bought this to replace the band on my Timex watch, but it fit OK. The reason I am giving this a 3 star rating is that the little loop that holds down the extra length of wrist band that extends beyond the buckle is somewhat loose, so it slides around and sometimes comes off.

It didn’t fit at all...I can’t believe I paid money for that
