Strawberry 'Honeoye' Bare Root Hardy Mid Season Garden Bush Fruit Plants (5 Plants)

I was a bit shocked at the look of them as it was my first time tying bare roots, came well packaged and after 2 hours soaking of the roots and planted they are showing a healthy burst of growth already. Will definitely order from the supplier again.

I bought one lot of these plants and because I wasn’t able to get to my package quickly enough, due to personal reasons, only one of the 5 survived. But that one shot up within 5 days so I swiftly ordered another pack. This lot I opened the second they came. Soaked them for a night and planted them the next morning. I’m so pleased! Just lovely plants to grow! I’ve had lots of delicious tasting fruit and still more to come. And they are sending out runners left right and centre. I can see next year being even better when they become better established also.

Only 4 of the 5 plants arrived with some growth, since planting 4 are looking ok but one has not shown any growth so far, last pic old plant from this year with new beside, time will tell

I was really skeptical of ordering plants from Amazon but these strawberry plants are amazing! They are much hardier and healthier than my two year old strawberry plants. I've waited until the season begun and can attest to the strawberries these plants produce; they were big and juicy, tart and sweet. I never leave reviews but had to for these plants. Would recommend!

Always careful with bare root plants as they can be hit-and-miss at best. These plants were much the same. About half were strong and have gone on to bear fruit, albeit a small crop. The other half were weak and although are growing, won’t be strong until next year. The fruit is perfect, with hindsight I wouldn’t been better off buying from our local nursery who had potted plants at a similar price.
