C2/AUTOLEADS - C2 VRNX001: VRNX001 - VRNX001

This product arrived very quickly and was extremely easy to fit. I fitted it myself in my renault clio and i know very little about cars the connector just fits into the cd changer socket. Enables playback from and device with a 3.5mm jack with very good sound quality. The only problem you face is figuring out where to run the cable out from to plug your phone in but i just ran it threw the glovebox which is the easiest option. I would definatly recommend this product to anyone who likes there music and has a Renault.I fitted it to a renault clio which has a tuner list C/D player head unit.

Works a treat - Like the other reviewer I used it in a Mk2 Clio (03 plate 172) which comes with the Tuner List stereo.Wanted to keep the stereo & not have to replace it with an aftermarket unit, so that I could keep the functionality of controling volume & radio functions with the stalks surrounding my steering wheel.Plugging it in & making it work is a doddle - you simply unplug the lead that goes to the CD multi-changer (can't remember the last time I used a CD) if the car has one fitted, and this plugs in it's place.The only bit to think about is where to route the cables.I don't know if the 172 dash has additional bit of trim plastic than other clios, but I had to remove pull the stereo out of it's slot, push the little box of electronics that comes with this kit down behind the A/C control panel, and then put a small hole in the plastic trim that sits just ahead of the gear knob, for the 3.5mm jack to run through.This means my mp3 player or phone can sit in the wee plastic tray by the cup holders, an inch or two next to the 12v power port/fag lighter.A modicum of common sense *is* required, but no real electronics or mechanical knowledge; Basically if you can handle "A plugs into B, and emerges at C", then you'll have no problem.Ps; I did quite a bit of homework before buying this unit. Sure, at apx 25-30ish quid it's a bit more expensive than some of the single-cable solutions out there, but those are specifically for the newer "Update List" stereos, that already have aux functionality built in, and just require the cable itself.For cars with the older "Tuner List" like the above mentioned 03-plate Clio, the decoder box that this kit comes with, and pugs in via the CD changer socket is a requirement.Hope this helps.

This does the job as described, and I did some research before buying this e.g check out these on other web sites and downloaded the fitting instructions from the connects 2 web site. Instructions clear and easy to use.Shame it stops the single disc player from working, but as a previous comment said cd player or Ipod your choice. The lead that goes to the ipod could be a little longer. So, it did what I expected, and I would buy another if, and when required.

Came fast and was direct plug and play. Very please with sound quality too.

After getting an iPod for my birthday a couple of years ago, i had been using FM Transmitters to play my iPod in the car. My new car came with an Aux in socket which removed the need for that. By chance when I was trying to find out if there was a stereo for my wifes Renault Clio that could do the same thing, I came across this little gem.It does exactly that, apparently all Renault stereos come with connection for a CD Changer. This adapter pretends to be a changer, and allows playback of any device that could normally be played through an Aux in socket. The only down side, whilst this is connected to your stereo, you cannot use the CD player/Cassette Deck which comes with the car. You need to remove this adapter to once again use these. So weigh it up iPod or CD player....Awesome!

Easiest way to get your iPhone or MP3 player to work through your older head unit with CD changer support and no separate and easy to connect aux input. This is a really neat solution and works well.

It worked, ending the saga of working out how to get music on a Scenic II with CD changer. Input cable was routed through a vent below the gear-stick. Aux setting was accessed via what was the CD changer input, as you'd expect.My only complaint was that it didn't come with the pin handles required to pull the stereo from the dash. Fortunately I already had a pair, but I can imagine that slightly stuffing a few people (although you can make your own from coat hangers if you are industrious).Overall though I am very happy with this, the sound is OK but that has more to do with Renault's speakers and dull EQ.. Immensely relieved that someone makes this product for far less money than some of the other solutions on here.

This is a fantastic product and fitting is extremely quick and simple. The whole process of fitting to my Renault Clio took no more than five minutes. To run the wire I simply prised off the curved console cover below the heater controls and ran the wire under the small gap at the bottom so that the ipod/iphone/android phone etc can sit in the centre console. No drilling of holes required and the silver box is hidden neatly behind the console cover. This is a great and inexpensive way to upgrade the existing car radio.

The media could not be loaded.  Para Renault Scenic 1, año 2000 con radio cassette Tuner list funciona. Sacar la radio, conectar la clavija de 8 pin y listo. Conecto el jack a la tablet y el sonido por los altavoces del coche, los mandos del volante funcionan (+/- volumen y mute). He probado con vídeos Youtube, el sonido siempre muy bueno y según calidad del vídeo tenías que subir un punto más el volumen de la tablet. Hacer mención al tema transporte: Correos Express de lujo, ASM un desastre. Todo pedido si sé que va por este último, no lo hago.

The media could not be loaded.  Génial, je voulais conserver mon poste d'origine avec manette au volant sans avoir à mettre une fortune dans un autre poste avec des branchements complexe...Ici l'installation est rapide, simple comme bonjour 🙂 celle-ci à dû me prendre 10 min et en filmant en même temps, pour vous faire parvenir plus de détails.Mon véhicule est une Renault Mégane Scénic rxt de 2000 avec un poste à cassette ( tuner list )😞 donc pas terrible pour être à jour musicalement...Livraison rapide ( 5 jours ), reçu en lettre bulle bien protéger avec notice, le câble AUX mesure 59,5 cm et la connectique 8 pin mini-ISO 36,5 cm donc une longueur confortable.Aucune affectation sur les commandes au volant, celles-ci répondent correctement, après au vu de mon poste à cassette, je n'ai pas le contrôle sur les pistes ( suivant, précédent ) donc le contrôle se fait via le lecteur MP3 ou mobile.Pour l'affichage déporté, il n'indique pas le numéro de piste et reste statique avec l'écriture " CD ", pour la qualité du son, c'est parfait ! aucun grésillement même le volume pousser au maximum.Si vous n'avez pas de clef d'extraction du poste, prenez une clef Allen ou même un petit tournevis fera l'affaire. Enfoncez jusqu'à entendre un " clic ".JE RECOMMANDE +++

Für alle, die in ihrem Renault ein original Hersteller Radio (z.B. Typ CD Tuner List) eingebaut haben mit optionalen Anschluss für einen CD-Wechsler.Der Anschluss erfolgt absolut einfach.Der blaue 8-pol. Stecker wird am Radio angeschlossen.Das andere Kabelende kommt an den AUX-Interface.Mit einem Chinchkabel geht's dann via 3,5 mm Klingenstecker zum Kopfhöreranschluss !FertigBeim Renault Clio II, Bj. 2001 bleibt so die Komfortfunktion der Lenkradsteuerung erhalten .Das Teil kann man nur weiter empfehlen !

Non funzionava bene all'inizio (era difettoso), puoi mi e stato cambiato velocemente ed ora funziona perfettamente. Tutto facile da installare.
