Worked great on my Nikon 300mm f2.8 lens
it’s a lot less money than the RRS stuff I have on other lenses.

Great plate! Easy to remove the 2nd Bolt!!
For all the people complaining about the second bolt... ignore that. One end of the slot is threaded. Simply slide the bolt down there and unscrew it to remove it from the equation.Using this plate under a Sigma 150-600mm lens mounted on a Canon R6, to get the setup into a more balanced state. LOVE the plate!

Works great with RRS QRs.
I would have skip the review of this kind of products, But since I read some reviews (other sizes) that are wrong , I had to write this and help others from being misled.I needed plates for a specific application and these (100mm and 150mm) looked perfect but I was reluctant to get it since some people posted that this was too small to work with RRS QR. I have 2 BH-55 LR ball heads and a RRS PG-02 Full Gimbal-pano head and all worked perfectly with this plate as a mater of fact exactly the same as the $80+ RRS plates, It requires the same pressure as my other RRS plates to lock it. This thing is a bargain at $24. I wish I had found these before spending a fortune on RRS plates.

Affordable Arca Swiss-Type Lens Plate for my 70-200mm
I purchased this lens plate to attach to my stock Nikon 70-200mm 2.8 VRII lens collar. It's a bit long, but does the job just fine. The build quality is good and it fits into my Arca Swiss Z1 ball head with no problems. The reason I purchased this particular model is that I had originally purchased the Desmond 5.5-Inch 140mm 140 QR Lens Plate and it did not fit. I wanted both screws fastened into my stock lens collar for stability and the screws on the 140 QR did not reach the holes on the collar. The DPL-150 reaches just fine, but beware that one of the screws on the lens plate is still fixed. It appears that both can adjust from the picture , but this is not the case. Only one of the screws is free to slide in the slot. This affects where the plate is attached relative the the lens collar. Mine comes very far forward on my 70-200mm. I wish the plate where a bit shorter, say 100mm. However, I was very happy to find one that works and even happier to save some money having just bought a Arca Swiss head, Wimberley Sidekick, and a Gitzo tripod legs ($$$). I may buy a Really Right Stuff lens collar replacement eventually, but this plate will serve my needs in the meantime.I've already bought a Kirk collar replacement for my 300mm F4 lens, which is the main long lens I use with my tripod setup. I use a Cotton Carrier Universal Adapter Plate on my camera bodies that works with my ball head and my various Cotton Carrier carrying devices (hand straps, vest, holster). I also bought the Desmond L Plate DAL-1 for my camera bodies, which works great on my D700 and D800E with and without their battery grips installed. So, you can see I was happy to save a few dollars just to make sure that I could use all of my gear with my new tripod setup. One final note, Amazon allowed me to return the first plate with no questions asked. That is one advantage of buying camera equipment, particularly acessories, through Amazon vs. the other big stores on the Internet. Good luck and happy shooting!!!

Solid plate.
This plate is excellent for securely holding my Sigma 50-500 lens and my E-5 Olympus DSLR to my Gimbal head. It gives a long adjustment option for Super telephoto lenses. It's very well made and I'm not at all concerned about mounting my equipment to this mount. For the money you can't go wrong provided you have a quality tripod to support your equipment.

great for the price
Fits my Nikon 200-500mm f/5.6 perfectly. With the extra screw, I added a nylon nut to make 100% sure the lens wouldn't pivot since the plate is anodized aluminum without grip pads. All in all, great for the price.

I think the 115mm long plate would be a better fit. Turned plate around and push lens plate ...
Bought to work with Sigma 50-500mm lens. This lens foot only has 1 hole for mounting of foot to lens plate, this plate give you 2 screws for mounting. When I push the lens plate to front of lens the flange on the lens foot doesn't fit with the curve front of lens. The plate is to long with a large amount hanging overs. I think the 115mm long plate would be a better fit. Turned plate around and push lens plate against the back of lens foot which is straight and tighten the screw. This seems to work. lots of extra lens plate hanging over

Excellent Bracket
This bracket ticks all the boxes. It is very well made and gives you lots of adjustment to move the plate forwards or backwards to perfectly balance your camera,i particularly like the long adjustment slot which gives you much more freedom to balance your camera and lens.I have other more expensive plates than this that do not meet the requirements to do this.Highly reccomended.
