PARMIDA (12 Pack) 6 Inch Ultra-Thin LED Recessed Ceiling Light with Junction Box, 12W, Dimmable Canless Wafer Slim Panel Downlight, IC Rated, ETL-Listed - 3000K

I am actually very impressed with these lights. Good quality and low profile. The low profile will allow for it to be installed under a ceiling joist, can’t do that with cans. One thing to note is the junction boxes are metal and if you are new construction or a remodel with a electrical permit, the inspector might want you to add a plastic gourmet where the wire enters the junction box to prevent the sharp edges from cutting the insulation for the wire. This is not a con, just something to be aware.

These lights are really bright, which is great. Only thing not so great is the holes drilled into drywall have to be perfect just FYI. No room for error as the trim only has maybe 1/4” lip around the light. So measure twice and cut once in these. I ended up buying a 6” hole saw and that worked great.

We first purchased the 12 pack soft white. Other than trying to fish wire through tight spaces (nothing to do with the product) the installation was super simple. The junction boxes, and the built-in connectors worked perfect. There was one box that we had four wires coming in that we had to use wire nuts and that box was a little difficult to fit everything in the one junction box but the rest fit comfortably.Some things to note:The boxes pop open easily, we ended up wrapping the boxes in electrical tape to make sure they didn't pop open once we placed them. Also, the cutouts don't have any wire protectors. you have to purchase those separately.The biggest issue that we had with the lights is that the 3000k "soft white" is not 3000K rather it is much closer to 5000k. Until I ordered the 2700 and replaced each light there was a very noticeable difference in color compared to 3000k lights (other brands) that we have in joining rooms. The nice thing is that it was super easy to change out the lights.Also note. The lights and trim are pretty small. It was my fault not really paying attention to the dimensions for some reason I expected the light diameter to be 4" and the trim to be much bigger. This being said the smaller footprint looks awesome on our wood ceiling.Another note - these lights are super bright so you will almost for sure want to use it with a dimmer.Overall I am really happy with these lights.

I can't say enough about this wonderful product. These lights are almost too bright to look directly at. I have them lighting my workshop on a 3' x 3' grid. The 12 of them put out 6,600 lumens. In my case, that's an extra 33 lumens/SF. I installed them myself--everything from the instructions to the hole template was perfect. The instructions suggest that you cut the hole, reach in for power, then hook up the supplied junction box, but I was able to wire before drywall, so I wired the junction boxes before cutting the holes. The spring attachment system works perfectly and, as you can see, these lights are very thin. One of my lights overlapped about 1/2" on a ceiling joist--that is no problem for this system. Finally, the packaging and quality control was just right. In 12 lights, I expected that one might be dead out of the box, but all 12 lit the first time. Also, they are instant on and completely silent. I hope I don't sound like a paid endorser (I'm not) or a bot, but there really is nothing negative to say. I don't think Home Depot or Lowes carries anything like this--I'm so glad I found it!

Great little light with great light. The clearance is amazing. No issues with anything in the way. And Can be placed with insulation

These lights are prettier in person and i really like the brightness aslo i can dim them down if i wanted to did the entire house and get alot of compliments. The white circle on the lights are thin which made it easy to installed and delivery was fast too. Would highly recommend this product.

These lights are listed as having a diameter of 7" the box also shows this as well however once they came in they were only 6.75" which will not cover the existing holes in the ceiling. Seller seemed to be completely unaware until I called them.

These lights are great; packaged well, none damaged on receipt. I bought a dozen for a remodel and they all worked perfectly. Look great; nice light projection and color. Bought 6 more.If I had any suggestion, it would be to have them make the sealing flange just a little wider. When installing on a popcorn ceiling, it is a little difficult to adjust everything just right to not see the drywall hole.

Very easy to install, however I'm assuming we had a faulty light. We ordered 12 cool white lights and 1 of the 12 started smoking shortly after we installed it! We ordered these 8months ago and our reno was delayed so this problem wasn't discovered until now so I'm unable to reach out to the seller. I was just about to order another set when this happened. I will not be ordering any more lights.Attached 2 photos we opened the box and if u look close enough you can see the smoke. Took pictures after we turned electricity off, alot more smoke when the electricity was on.

Cheapest product that does a fantastic job, super bright, I would highly recommend adding a smart dimmer as a switch. I got the 6 inch. About 5 feet away from each other and the room is very bright.I brought 12 so far. Hardest part about this install wasnt the lights it was drilling through the cross beams on a finished floor.

Love the fact that they have built in connectors for up to 3 wires, awesome price and packaging is really well done. Those are the positive points.Jonction box doesn’t hold shut you will have to use electric tape to hold then secure. I usually install 6w models i find locally and they put out much more light then these, I highly doubt they put out the lumens stated in description.

I like the value of my money spent to this I just hope a little longer wire better housing(thicker gauge of metal) and there should be cable connector. That maybe add up $5-$10 to production costs but very worth it to add value and worry free installation

Good quality and very bright. They were actually too bright for my application. They did have a slight delay when first turning them on, 2 seconds or so.
