Disappointed!
After reading all of the excellent reviews on this I didn't think twice about purchasing. However when I used it I was extremely disappointed. When I first opened it I noticed how short the plates were. Not what I was expecting. The first time I used it, it smelled like it was burning and didn't seem like it worked very well. I had to go over my hair several times even on the highest setting. I figured I would give it another try. The second time it pulled my hair out. My hair got stuck in between the end of the plates and the plastic part of the iron. I'm really not sure how this flat iron has gotten so many great reviews!!

Great Product and Price
Im surprised about this. I figured for the price you would get an ok straightener, but i'm really happy with the outcome. Heats up fast and isn't too hot which is nice for my hair.I love this straightener, better than any high end straightener I have ever owned.Over all i would recommend.

Versatile & great for a beginner
I bought this for my daughter who is not quite ready to start primping in the morning but about to be. I have my own straightener but was afraid she'd lose it in her room or just constantly have it in her bathroom. Buying a 2nd one seemed like the smartest idea. So far so good. She's learning how to straighten her hair in general and this particular straightener seems to be perfect for her. This heats up quickly, shows the temp on the display and the included clips are perfect for her hair. The other great thing about this straightener, that I learned from my hair stylist, is that you can use this to also curl your hair. This is everything my daughter could ever need for her hair when she's ready to start doing her hair more.

Did not work for me.
After reading all the wonderful reviews I could not wait to receive and use this item. I have naturally curly/wavy hair and was thinking "finally!" A straighten that will do the job without having to spend $90 on a Chi which is my preferred flat iron. I was disappointed. I hadn't even started to curl the right side of my hair yet before the left side that I already straightened started to curl and wave. The plates are also small. It does heat up quickly but even with high heat and the Aryan spray it just did not work on my hair. I will stick to my Chi in the future.

Doesn't straighten hair like it should
This thing sucks. I have wavy hair, not super wavy mind you, and it barely straightens my hair- it leaves my hair slightly wavy. The Revlon one I got from Walmart works way better. I even had it set to 470 degrees (the highest it goes) and it was still a piece of crap. I'm returning it. Go buy a cheap Revlon one. It will actually make you're hair 100% straight. This one only makes it about 70%.

Mala calidad
Mala inversión no calienta lo suficientee aunque le puse temperatura 470 eesttive pasando como 4 veces y no logré lo que decia en las reseñas. me arrepiento de esta compra es la segunda plancha q pido en amazon y las 2 malas dinero a la basura .

Chips like crazy
So, I must have missed reviews saying the paint chips away, if there are any. I'm surprised that didn't come up more? Because after only a few uses, I noticed little white flecks in my hair, which was the flat iron shedding on me. Yeah, I have it on it's highest heat setting, which it should be able to endure given it's a flat iron. I don't flat iron my hair a lot, so by the time I noticed, the return window ended. I want a flat iron that can hold up better than this cheapo one. Guess I really did get what I paid for.
