I'm not sure what sheerness means but it has good flavor. It says natural and it definitely tastes natural, not artificially sweet or anything. We made smoothies with this when I was a barista and now that I have a blender I wanted to make my own - all you need is water, ice, and the mix. It's great.

This product is a staple in our refrigerator for making delicious and healthy fruit smoothies. Just follow the directions on the bottle. We like to add mixed frozen fruit instead of ice.

I was going to make real STRAWBERRY wine, but with grape and pear juice adulterants, it would have been just as inferior as Boone's Farm!Update: Because I was told by Amazon not to return the unsuitable item, I put it away until I could decide whether it was useful for anything else, but today I found it leaking from spontaneous fermentation. while taking it to the garbage, I slipped on the wet floor and pulled a muscle. It could have been worse if I had unwittingly drunk some, because many molds, bacteria, and yeasts produce things far more toxic than ethanol. "Pasteurized for your safety" is just one more false labeling JOKE!

Taste ok, but I know why they don't show the back of the bottle. Loaded with calories! I would not have bothered if I had seen that.
