great fan after 6 months of use...no issues....quiet white noise on low, leave it on this setting all the time. makes decent white noise on medium and high but i have heard a lot worse, no strange whirling or humming. Great breeze from it, good power on high, the little feet help when attached help with stability but placing a weight or something heavy will help from it sliding around too much from the power. All in all a great box fan, plus its black...looks amazing. Slight problem in shipping, one of the plastic feet broke, not much to be done, just super glued it back on and its working fine. Really satisfied, helping me get some good air in my apt when the A/C air isn't on, very nice!

So far this fan has held up through being carted to summer camp and back! Pretty good for a $20 fan! Yah, it makes noise, it's not a whisper fan, but it's an even noise, and I used it for white noise, on the lowest setting, at night in the cabin. I'll be using this in my apartment during the rest of summer while I'm not at camp! Moves air really well and does everything a box fan should. I love love love that it comes in black, so it blends in with the decor of a bedroom.

I ordered two of these box fans despite the awful reviews. I decided to take a chance after all it was just a box fan and the price was right. I needed to replace our old fans we use to sleep by. There was an issue with delivery. One arrived one didn’t. I was instructed to reorder if I chose or they would gladly refund my money. I chose to reorder. The first fan had an issue with a loud sound. After removing the front grill I saw it had a few plastic pieces that were scrapping on the blade with each rotation. I used a blade and trimmed those little “tags” off and it ran great. The second fan ran perfectly without any problems.

This is a standard box window fan. It blows air and doesn't cost much. The materials are a bit flimsy but that doesn't stop it from doing its job. In fact, it helps keep the cost down so if you accidentally get it wet because you forgot to close the window in a rain storm, you won't freak out about having to buy another. Although I got mine wet and let it dry out, and it still worked. I don't think it was meant to get wet though so results may not be typical. When I first got it, one of the blades were warped a bit and got stuck on the grate. I just pushed it and it worked just fine and doesn't get stuck anymore. I suppose the centripetal force cause the errant blade to straighten out over time.

I am super particular about white noise and the level of air flow. I HAVE to sleep with a fan. this fan diminishes all extra noise. The first setting is powerful enough to cool down the entire room (i almost forget there is a higher setting to whats on). This fan does not shake like the rickety old box fan use to do. It's also great because it blends into the background of the room being a dark black color plastic. For the money it's a MUST. After hours of comparing reviews and prices, this will be my new until they stop manufacturing them.

Item arrived with one missing foot piece (box was intact) and appeared possibly used. Amazon issued a return and the new one just arrived in a damaged box. The same foot was broken but at least this time I found the broken foot still attached to the base (probably was UPS's fault) and with a little Gorilla glue was able to reattach it. Otherwise fan works fine and shipping was fast. And yes, at maximal speed (3) it is very loud. Since I am using it as a mosquito trap outside, the noise is not a big problem. It is a decent product for the price. Seller needs to wrap those four tiny foot pieces at the bottom of the fan to avoid similar damages in the future--worth the shipping/return energy/cost to do a little prevention.

This fan is extremely nice. Powerful, light and not super loud. Works great!

This is the best reasonably-priced box fan you can buy on Amazon. I've had another Lasko fan identical to this one for years now, running nightly, and it's never rattled or wobbled. What you get with this fan is a good, consistent flow of air, moderate-to-loud (depending on setting) white noise, and a low power draw. Really, for $20, that's all I could ever want.

I received this fan and it has worked very well, even after suffering a couple of falls from the window. However, the day after I received it, a model very similar to this one went on sale at Bodega A at almost half the price of what I paid. They look almost identical.

イマドキの省電力なDCモーターではないし、タイマーはおろか首振りすらできないので機能的には50年前の国産扇風機にすら惨敗です。アウターケースには加工歪みがあり、メッシュカバーにはバリもあり、良くも悪くもアメリカンな大雑把な造りです。しかし、部屋の空気のそのものを動かすマッスルな風量、国産家電にはないスパルタンでインダストリアルな雰囲気、掃除する時のバラしやすさ、そして奥行わずか10cm程度でマンションでも収納場所に困らないスリムさが魅力です。個人的には大満足で、今まで持っていたホワイトに加え今回ブラックを買い足ししました。

Light weight, easy,to carry, has good air flow for a reasonable price. I use it on a rugged surface and it tends to lean forward which directs the air flow downward. Perhaps front support would prove more beneficial. Using a filter on the back keeps the fan blades free of dust. I like this product.
