As advertised! It is fun. I'm a little disappointed that even the "outdoor" volume gets lost when there are enough kids in the big shared room we're using--the acoustics are tricky because of cement floor & high ceilings.

This soft toy is perfect for my grandson! He’s non-verbal autistic, and enjoys interaction with family and friends. The beauty of this toy is it’s simplicity. No instructions needed! Some friends and family members got in a circle and demonstrated what to do and he quickly understood and laughed more than I’ve seen him in a long while! He didn’t want to stop I highly recommend this “Soft Pass the potato for children of all ages and special needs! Big winner in our home!

I bought this for my grandchildren, but the whole family had such fun with this. It is great because it has the kids to being active. It’s great fun for all ages. My grandson even took it to school and it was a big hit.

Updated to 4 stars because we realized it’s kind of hard to get it to play the music to actually play the game. We often toss it back and forth for awhile before the music will start - it’ll talk and say it’s silly phrases with each throw, but that’s not really the fun part of playing “hot potato.” I wish there was a mode to take off the phrases and only play the music with each throw. Absolutely worth the price. Quality family time while mom and dad get to sit on the couch and the kiddos are up jumping around and getting movement in. So many laughs!! It’s well made and I expect it will hold up for years of play. I also appreciated that it came with batteries and was ready to play with straight out of the box!

Got this for my grandchildren 3 and 5. They thought it was hilarious. One thing I definitely loved about it was the 3 year old could both catch it and throw it well without the difficulty she has with a ball.

Super fun! It works great and it's something all ages can enjoy. If you can toss and catch, you can play this!

Great, simple game that’s fun for the whole family. It usually comes out when we have visitors or are having a BBQ. You have to keep passing the potato before it explodes, and nobody wants to be holding it when it does! 😂 We did find it a little quiet at first, especially outside, which is unusual for a toy like this. Luckily we discovered it has two volume settings, so you can turn it up. It’s not a particularly long game, but it’s a really fun way to practise throwing and catching. It’s durable as ours has been lobbed around everywhere and still works perfectly. After some “stillness”, the potato goes to sleep which preserves its battery without having to take the box out to turn it on/off.

We love this toy, the sayings are too cute as well.

Awesome toy to bring to camping with kids but I wish it made farting noises instead blowing up at the countdown

This is a cute game. I really like this little potato. Even without playing the passing game it makes lot of noises which my nephew loved. My only complaint is it is just a little too quiet. You can hear it okay but if there is more things going on than I wish you could turn it up more.
