Very good purchase. Only weird thing was the numbers on one of the knobs rubbed off in the first few days! However, an excellent, fast, asy to clean little emergency hob. Highly recommend.

We got this after moving house as we never use the oven and still wanted to be able to fry things. Works very well, heats up fast! Just a pre warning though that the metal sides get extremely hot, so you have to wait for it all to cool down before putting away. Other than that though, great purchase!

Had to buy due to our hob breaking. At such a low price I didn’t really have high hopes but needed something to use! Well it’s great. Can’t comment on longevity as only used it once but it boiles pasta easily. Got to temperature as quick as the hob does. Looks tidy. So overall a good purchase! Would recommend.

It was a good product, Heats well - lead is very short though so you need plenty of space near a plug. Only purchased 2nd August. I’ve used it about 10 times and it has stopped working. One side doesn’t heat and only half the small ring heats up.

I bought this single electric hot plate for occasional use in a small kitchen, expecting it to be a simple and convenient solution. It worked fine at first — heated up quickly and seemed decent for the price — but it stopped working entirely after just four days. There was no warning or visible damage; it simply wouldn’t turn on one morning. I tried different sockets, checked the fuse, but nothing helped. For something that’s supposed to be portable and ideal for students or holiday homes, you’d expect at least basic reliability. The build quality also felt cheap — the temperature control dial was loose and imprecise, and the unit got alarmingly hot around the sides during use. I wouldn’t have felt confident continuing to use it even if it hadn’t failed, especially in a caravan or small space. This hot plate might be affordable, but it’s not worth even the low price if it can’t last a week. I ended up replacing it with a more reputable brand. Avoid this one if you’re looking for something that actually lasts.

This is a great item it saves time when you Want to cook something quick and easy For example fried eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes done in no time stall great piece of kit I am very pleased with it. Yours sincerely Mr P Cousins

Great item use all the time. Only down fall is the numbers on dial have disappeared after a few months, so have to guess the temperature
