Yes. If your ps3 is backwards compatible.. Or the new ps3 slim.. I've played my ps1 games on the ps3 slim but it doesn't play ps2 games

The one I recived was a Greatest Hits. Which I have no problem with. The game content is exactly the same and GH versions tend to be more rare. I dont buy games to look at the case. This is a fantastic update to the original Final Fantasy and should be in everyone's PS1 collection regardless of lable
