I have sensitive skin, and I was happy that this bleach didn’t cause any irritation or allergic reaction. It definitely works and lightened my body hair, but I don’t think it was as strong as I expected. It may need to be left on a little longer than the recommended time to achieve a lighter blonde result (although everyone’s hair and skin are different). My hair turned blonde, just not as light as I was hoping. After a few applications, following the recommended processing time every 2–3 days, I started to see better results. It took three applications to achieve a lighter blonde shade, so it does work, but it requires a little patience. Overall, it does the job, but don’t expect dramatic results after the minimum processing time.

However, I did notice a slight tingling sensation during the process, which is to be expected with a product of this nature. My skin was a little red immediately after, but this subsided within an hour. Value & Conclusion: For its price, the Sally Hansen Extra Strength Creme Bleach offers excellent value. A single box provides multiple applications, making it a very cost-effective solution for managing unwanted hair. It delivers on its promise of fast, effective bleaching. While the "extra strength" formula might be a bit intense for very sensitive skin, the instructions advise doing a patch test, which is a crucial step to avoid any severe irritation. Overall, it's a reliable and efficient product that I would recommend to anyone looking for an affordable and quick solution for bleaching body or facial hair.

The old version of the powder bleach and cream activator had not been working super well in the last 10 years or so, after reading the reviews here on Amazon, I was a little worried that this would work even less effectively, but after one use it took half of the time to bleach the hair on my upper lip and it bleached every single hair, unlike the previous formula which still after 12 minutes or so left a couple of dark hairs. Very happy!

The before and after, WOW I’m pleasantly surprised!! Works on black folk too! You’d think the color would be weird but it works quite well, I really recommend this!! Especially if you have sensitive skin because I have extremelyyyyy!!!!!!! Sensitive, eczema, AND acne prone skin, and I applied this in a spot I’m actually dealing with eczema and it did not break me out at all, BUT the only thing..FOLLOW the instructions EXACTLY how it says.. it will bleach ur skin but for me fortunately it did fade by the next day, just don’t be like me and bleach the same spot two days in a row.😓 also when you apply it it burns and itches SO BAD bru it’s unbearable I had to take it off before I even hit 10 mins.

Works great. It does say on the instructions not to use on eyebrows but I did and it was great and thankfully my skin didn’t react at all even though I have very sensitive skin.

Does what it says on the box. The instructions recommend leaving the bleach on for 5-10 mins, but my arms started tingling around 5 mins in so I washed it off. I have dark arm hair and it was fully bleached in that time.

I am a very long-term user of this product; the original formula and I loved it. I waited quite a while to try the new one because the reviews were quite upsetting. Here's what I have discovered. I have to use the pre conditioner that came with the original formula for this not to sting and hurt. I used to have to leave the original formula on for 20 minutes to totally bleach out my upper hair. This new formula requires more than the 10 minutes stipulated and that would be a pain problem if it were not for the pre-conditioner usage. It is a simpler mix process; however I find the resulting combination of creams to be very runny and not thick enough to adhere easily. The mixing stick is ridiculously large and totally unusable for small areas like the upper lip so I've used the spatulas from the original formula. I could give this a four star review if they provided a preconditioning agent and improved the consistency of the combined creams so they're not as runny. Bottom line; it did the trick; but still not as good as the original formula.

Worked great! Definitely keep it on a little longer than what the directions say… be cautious that is does almost burn off hair in some places.

Ich hatte etwas Respekt vor dem Produkt, da ich Bleichmitteln eher sehr skeptisch gegenüber stehe... Meine Haut hat die inzwischen mehrmaligen Anwendungen aber immer sehr gut überstanden, obwohl ich zu Neurodermitis neige. Man darf es eben nicht zu lang drauf lassen und sollte vorher eine empfindliche Stelle mit dem Mittel testen. Ich habe es sogar schon wieder nachbestellt, weil es doch eine sehr gute Alternative zum ständigen Rasieren darstellt. Die Haut ist nach der Anwendung ganz leicht heller als vorher, das verschwindet aber nach einigen Stunden. Die Haare am Arm oder im Gesicht sind langanhaltend aufgehellt und damit quasi unsichtbar, obwohl meine natürliche Haarfarbe sehr dunkles Braun ist. Ich kann das Produkt empfehlen. Schade nur, dass es so eine lange Lieferzeit aus den USA hat.

I’d like me you had been using the boots Hair Lightener cream that just stopped working entirely because they stupidly changed the formula, then this is what you need! Works in exactly 8mins and I have very thick, dark Indian facial hair. Have been so self conscious as the Boots one didn’t work for months and Jolene always made me get a burning sensation on my face so I was desperate for a product that worked. So glad I read the reviews and bought this. It is ofc pricier but I was desperate for a fix to my fake facial hair.

I’ve been using this in the US for years - always using the instructed amounts. This is the first time I bought it here and it burned my face in multiple areas!! It was so bad. I have noticed that the products on Amazon here are not the same quality as what I get back home.
