It's a fix!
We opted for a manual, top-load Speed Queen washer many years ago. Having run 10-15 loads per week since, it finally caught up to the bearings. It's about a 4-4.5 hour job, at a medium difficulty level. Oh, getting the specialty tool for the large inner drum nut I found is necessary. Plan ahead and have that on hand. Also a 3-arm bearing puller using the loan-a-tool program from Autozone to pull off the hub. There are some great videos online to walk you through this repair. Be very careful setting the very heavy, loaded (with motor and transmission) drum back into the chassis. I accidentally dropped mine a few inches and broke the friction ring the whole thing sets on. :-\

Almost Everything I Needed
I'm assuming this kit is for people "in the business" so the instructions don't specify how to remove the agitator or drive bell (both are just press-fit [use shim bags to make the job easier]).Used everything in the kit; happy to have an appliance tech for a brother. Also bought:- GENUINE Alliance Laundry Systems 28944RP Rspc Bearing.- 3M Polyurethane Sealant 560 for the between-drum bearing. (Instructions specify 560)Borrowed:- Washing machine hub nut wrench.

Made it work
This kit will get the job done, as long as you don't need a new main nut. Figured with all the things that came with it, there would be a nut. It doesn't advertise that there is, so that's on me. Also, the top and bottom seal came stuck together and it was difficult to get them apart, but once I did it worked fine.

This is the 2nd kit I have received that has a defective main tub bearing.
The bearing that slides over transmission shaft and holds the weight of the washing tub has been manufactured wrong. This tub bearing is not pressed together correctly. It would cause the wash tub to sit at an angle. This was the 2nd 766P3A kit I received from PartsKing with this issue in a week. The tub bearing is Item 10 in this screenshot of the washer manual. I sent back this defective kit and requested a refund. It is now August 14th 2024, and I still have not been refunded.

Shot after 3 mos.
Didn't realize when I started putting the SQ washer back together that there was no Loctite in the box. Loctite is not easy to find locally. So now I have washer partially put together, but can't finish...grrr! Waiting on response, but either way I'll have to wait to get Loctite 680 in.UPDATE:I replaced with bearing kit. Now it is 3 months later and the bearing is already squealing again. It usually lasts 5+ yrs even though we do a lot of laundry. I have replaced this 3x so this is not a new fix for me. Now I have to shell out another $150 for a new one 3 mos. later. Very frustrating
