Just not strong enough for the job
Having got many years of tea stains on some of my teeth I tried the Azdent device but found it a disappointment. The rubber cups that are supposed to do the polishing lack any real friction and if you try to exert any pressure they stop rotating. If you insert a blob of toothpaste into the cup first, as instructed, turning on the device just sprays it out in all directions, so there is not enough left to do any polishing anyway. So I don't feel I can recommend this product.
