KS Choi Corp Infrared Heat Lamp 110V with Bulb Made in Korea

My therapist used this for my shoulder pain, and I liked it so much that I asked what brand it was. I was a little surprised to find it on Amazon because it’s made in Korea. It works really well for me, and I use it almost every night for my back and leg pain. I especially love that you can set the timer for 5, 10, or 20 minutes, so I can relax and even fall asleep without worrying about turning it off. I’ve seen some reviews complaining that it burned their skin, but I think it’s important to start with a low temperature and gradually increase it to a comfortable level. Everyone’s skin sensitivity is different, so use caution and don’t make it too hot. I’ve been very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it!

My physical therapist recommended this infrared heat lamp after having tried other infrared heat lamps from other companies. This model is super easy to assemble and easy to use at home. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Im an acupuncturist and use infrared lamps with almost every treatment. I prefer the red infrared ones but succumbed to a TDP double-headed lamp a couple of years ago. Within a few weeks, one head stopped working and 2 years after purchasing, the other went out. That's too soon for me, and they notoriously break often. I never wanted to go back to a TDP again. My first infrared lasted 10 years, my other one is going over 10 years now, so I got this one to stick with the more reliable infrared lamps. It was easy to set up. I had it working within 10 minutes of opening the box, and it does exactly what it's supposed to. It makes no noise (some of them tick annoyingly), heats immediately, is adjustable. It's quite lightweight which is awesome yet stable on its base. I will be purchasing another next month for my other treatment room.

The item works well. It is sturdy and easy to use. I like the remote control but it only works to increase or decrease the heat intensity. I wish you could use it to turn it on or off. For the price the warranty information is vague and not shown in the information provided. Unlike most products, it does have a 1 year manufacturer warranty.

I wanted to leave a review as I found the reviews for acupuncturists to be super helpful! I have only used TDP lamps over the last 12 years. I reached out to my acu crew for a new heat lamp rec and they all suggested the KS Choi infrared heat lamp. So far it has been a great experience. Super easy to set-up. It heats up the moment you turn it on (no waiting for it to heat up). You can control the intensity level of the heat. There is an actual handle attached to the head that you can use to adjust the head while in use. There is no clicking timer and no "ding" when timer stops with option of not using the timer and just turning knob on or off. The base is super lightweight making it easy to roll around easily. You can adjust the height of the heat lamp. I love the option that there is a controller that my patients can use if needed. Will not be using the plastic protection cover. I did find that the electrical cord to be too short and purchased a heavy duty electrical cord, that was compatible with lamps wattage/volts to help.

I did not give the one that I brought a good rating. I had to returned it because the timer would not stay on It had a defect. My friend has one, and it works perfectly. I need to reorder one.

I use this heat lamp in my acupuncture clinic. I have 2 treatment rooms, and I had this one in Room 1, a regular TDP lamp in Room 2. All of my patients say they like the heat lamp in Room 1 (this one). There is sufficient heat, and a remote is good, but I don’t use it. I sometimes use the timer, but I prefer turning on/off manually. It comes on and heats up right away. I bought a second one and replaced my 6-year-old TDP lamp. With all heating units, we have to be careful not to put it too close to the patient’s skin (about 18 inches is good), or it will cause a burn injury. Patients seem very relaxed when they are under this lamp with needles in place.I am satisfied with this lamp.

Esta lámpara que ayuda para terapia me parece de muy buena calidad, los materiales se sienten resistentes la potencia que maneja se me hace la adecuada y el armado fue súper sencillo en cuestión de par de minutos la armas. Me vino con un foco y dos resistencias. El único que resalto negativo es que no viene instrucciones precisa sobre el cambio de estas resistencias
