If you look around for this lens, you will find it for the same price as this package as a solo item. So this package deal is a great value as you get a backpack, 3 lens filters, cleaning kit, mono-pod etc. The lens is why I bought this and my primary focus so I am overall very happy with this purchase BUT the mono-pod is garbage. Completely useless and horribly cheaply made. DO NOT PUT YOUR EXPENSIVE EQUIPMENT ON THIS MONO-POD.When I got it out of the box, I was excited as I intended on using the mono-pod. At first glance, the tightening ring on the threaded bolt was already loose in the bag. It simply snaps on and off tiny indentions on the sides. This was the first sign this was a cheap item. If it comes off this easily, what hope do you have of tightening it down to your camera? None. With this part of the item in pieces, there is no way to hand tighten the mount to your camera base. So, I did what I always do and try to make my own work around. This package comes with a handheld strap that I know I would not use. This mounts to your camera base and also has a threaded bolt in the knob. So I removed the threaded knob from the hand strap, broke the plastic off of it so it would fit inside the plastic mono-pod mount. I tightened it to my camera ( Canon 6D ) and with the lens from this package. Then clamped it onto the mono-pod. Good thing I kept my hand around my camera lens because immediately, the weight of my camera and lens pried my camera and mount out of the mono-pod and it would have fallen to the floor. The mono-pod head is cheap, flexible plastic and the mount is made of the same material. Both flexed and wobbled and there is no way ANY standard camera body with a PRO L lens could be supported by this. It has to be made for a simple point and shoot camera. I cannot for the life of me understand why this mono-pod is included in this package as it can in no way support a SLR camera with a lens.Again, I am pretty happy with the overall purchase as I got what I really wanted in the 100mm lens but felt I needed to share this info because I would hate for anyone to assume this mono-pod works, mount their camera and start walking and have it snap off and fall to the ground. Talk about an expensive lesson!Hope this review finds you in time. Enjoy the awesome lens!!

Love this lens! It’s been perfect for my newborn sessions for those detail shots and has made an excellent portrait lens as well. I think it has been worth every penny.I love that it came with a kit. I use the backpack to conveniently store all my important lenses in one place so I don’t have to carry a ton of extra stuff when on location for a photo shoot.

My favorite lens. Its lightweight, perfect portrait lens, macro! I had the very old version before this one and they are both amazing lenses.

Got this for a gift. She loves the lens, but really doesn't use the other stuff.
