Centerpiece of Overwatch Ultimates
Reinhardt is the flagship to Hasbro Overwatch Ultimates, towering over the other figures. The platter-sized shield is epic, but mostly opaque. It works, though, because Overwatch Ultimates are sturdier than their Figma cousins.

HAMMERTIME!!
Coming from the viewpoint of someone who doesn't even like the Overwatch video game, it speaks volumes that Reinhardt is a really amazing action figure and fun collectible, not to mention the crown jewel of the whole Overwatch Ultimates series. He is in scale with the other 6" and 7" figures of the line, meaning he tops out at a whopping 12" tall from his boots to the tip of his helmet crest and is roughly 7" wide, so he's a real shelf hog even without his accessories, not to mention HEAVY, about three pounds on his own with the solid, weighty plastic he's made from. He of course comes with his trademark rocket hammer and a two-part energy shield- a translucent blue plate with a hexagon pattern on it about the size of a dinner plate, and the lion-shaped buckler that can either plug into the center of the "energy" shield, or into a socket on Reinhardt's arm for its "stored" mode, along with two black plastic clips that prop up the shield on a shelf for a backdrop or for recreating Reinhardt's in-game look where the shield hovers in front of him. The downside to his accessories is that, for such a big box, Reinhardt doesn't come with any effect parts, like a jet exhaust for his hammer or turbine, or an "impact" effect for the hammer, which makes him seem a little boring when compared to the other Ultimates figures who all come with effect parts for their guns. The other downside is that Reinhardt's posability, while good, is lacking some important joints, like an upper-arm rotation joint, which prohibits him from holding his hammer two-handed (despite its length), and recreating his in-game pose of stomping forward with his shield projected out from his wrist. He is still posable enough to hold some good poses as seen in the pictures, and has a good amount of painted details, with his visor, turbine, paint on his pauldrons, and most of the "glowy bits" on his armor picked out, with the mechanical details and hoses coated in a dark gunmetal grey. The biggest downside is with the cost- $70 is WAY too expensive for this figure, as while it's a very solid and fun action figure, it's not the same quality as a Figma or a dedicated collectors' piece with the lacking paint details and softer sculpt. If you can get him for $30-40, this is more acceptable for what you're getting, unless you REALLY like Reinhardt and have to have a figure of him. But all this aside, Reinhardt is a great, sturdy, fun figure that makes a great addition to any collection, whether you're a fan of Overwatch or just want a big science-fantasy knight to display on your shelf.
