SGT KNOTS550 Paracord Boot Laces Milspec Boot Lace - 54 in - 72 in lengths

These laces are great, they are clearly a few notches above in both quality and strength when compared to your standard boot laces. I ran through 2 pairs of boot laces for my Carolina steel toe logger boots in about a year. I think this may be due to how tight i like to lace my boots and the fact that I sometimes work outside in the wet. When feeling these laces you can clearly tell they have great heft and are about twice as heavy as usual laces. I can lace my boots really tight with these. So far they have kept up well to a dirty and wet environment of the construction industry. The metal tips made it easy to lace the boots through the holes and will definitely last longer than the typical plastic tips you find on laces. If you ever need para-cord, they can function as cordage as well. I wish they were slightly longer as my boots have 8" of ankle support and only have about 8 inches left at the top of the boot to tie with. Overall, a great purchase for the price.

Needed a pair of sturdy laces for a new pair of 5.11 Range Master Boots that came with flat black and red laces I did not like much. I have purchased Sgt Knots paracord bracelets as part of my duties as the Emergency Preparedness Coordinator at my place of work and I was very happy with the ingenuity of the products and the sturdiness of the 550 paracord. So getting Sgt Knots paracord shoelaces was a no brainer AND I was happy to support a Veteran owned business. These laces are strong, the aglets sturdy and the stretch minimal. Can't ask much more for a shoelace.After reading other reviews that complained of slippage I thought I would update my review after a few weeks to see if I experienced any of my shoelaces coming loose unexpectedly. I do take my tying skills seriously (also as a fisherman and former Boy Scout) and I snug my shoelaces each time, meaning I take the extra 3 seconds to make sure the knot is even and firm. I have not experienced any slippage and I will buy these laces again.

Well I finally got some time to try these laces. I love the laces as they seem well made and have metal clips on the ends not some cheap plastic that peals off leaving you a nightmare to thread. However there is one complaint that I took a star off for. I cannot keep them tied. They are always coming undone. I tighten them with tremendous pressure but they will not stay tied. That’s a major issue for me because I do a lot of hazardous work and cannot afford to trip on my laces and probably kill myself. I am going to try several things as to add some wax and see if that helps and maybe double knot them. But as far as that they are very well made. Just wish they would stay tied. Please be aware of this when you order them. Just never had this issue since I was little learning how to tie my shoes.

When you have an elite team of mice, you have to equip them properly. Where would mice team six be without proper ropes for repelling?Once I bought these, I outfitted the whole squad with these laces, and they were able to successfully infiltrate Swiss cheese manor. No cat had any clue they were there.Would recommend.

I used these on some Khombu boots I bought from Costco. The laces that came with the boots kept unraveling due to the sharp eyelets on the boots. So I purchased these laces. They fit in the eyelets and have yet to come apart. They are a larger diameter than what came with the boots so they are harder to keep tied but because I tie them well they have only come untied once. I am buying a second pair today for another pair of boots. Needless to say I like these laces.

After about an hour of use, these laces come untied. The durability of these laces seem good and the metal tips are great, but they don't have enough squish in the material that allows the laces to stay tied throughout the entire day.

i bought the 54 inch set, they’re nice and sturdy, easily glide through the eyelets. only downside is that they’re a tiny bit short. It could just be that my boots are a little off my a measurement, but for anyone looking to get these, i’d recommend getting them a size longer
