Works great, overpriced
Very easy to set up for someone who just had knee replacement surgery. It keeps the ice in tact for 24 hours. I am shocked at how expensive this is considering my husband could have probably made this with a beach cooler, pipe purchased at harbor freight and any type of fabric cooler bag. I could make this for $20.

Great product
This product was such a help after knee replacement surgery. It made a tough recovery much easier. So glad I made the investment.

This can be helpful. . . . .
The only reason I couldn't use mine, is that my husband who will be taking care of after TKR, he has his own issues, and the Orthopedic doctor suggested this particular kind would be more work for him. Sadly, not that I think for one minute you are charging too much for the better kinds, but we just can't afford it, along with costly meds we take. But if my hub didn't have difficulties as well, it just might have been fine, I would say worth trying if there are no physcail incapabilities of your caretaker that would cause difficulty as I first stated. For any of us having surgery, GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF US, . .. .I need it, but Im a wreck. Gotta get over that pretty quick!!!

Woks great for icing sore joint - however
A friend loaned us one of these and we liked it so well we bought one for use after surgery. We like the simplicity of the water pump and the intermittent gentle squeeze on the area being cooled. However, as the velcro bands are separated from the velcro tab, in order to take the cuff off the knee, the velcro tab on the body of the knee cuff pulls partially off. So far we have been able to press the loose part of the tab back in place. We wonder when it will come completely off and not restick.

Buy it
Honestly, it’s like an Ice pack but better I recommend it a lot. Super helpful and feels really nice and cool.

Warms up so fast that it's really just not effective.
The concept made sense and the compression and cold felt amazing as the cold water hugged my knee. But within a few minutes it had warmed up so much that I quickly wanted the ice wraps that I had from the freezer. It's really just not very effective. And I realized that all would have needed is a $25-$35 compression sleeve and then I could rig up something better with a cooler, some tubing and some clips I already had in the basement. Why pay over $100 for something so temporary in its effect?

Great
Just what was needed post total knee. Great price. Used FSA dollars.

Not easy to use.
This unit is not as efficient as earlier model that has a pump to make ice water circulate continuously. This one you must constantly lower the bucket portion to drain water that has warmed in knee cuff, then raise and manually hold bucket in an elevated position to cause cold water to refill the knee cuff. Would have returned but ordered unit too far in advance of surgery. Replaced this unit with a Lyonns unit that has pump to constantly circulate cold water.
