Mrs. Renfro’s Nacho Sliced Jalapeño Peppers – Crisp (16-oz. jars, 4-pack)

I hesitate to write this review as these have become difficult to find in local grocery stores. Thankfully Amazon delivers! These are the best jalapeño’s I’ve tried. Always flavorful and crunchy not mushy. Great for nachos or just eating straight from the jar! I always keep an extra jar on hand as invariably someone will ask where I got them and I end up gifting them a jar.

It's ridiculous that I'm writing a review on jalapeño peppers, but this is what you do when you run out of actual work to do. In all seriousness though, these peppers are great. I like them enough to order them from Amazon when I can just get a similar pepper at the supermarket. Why you ask? The flavor and quality. These just taste better for some reason. I also appreciate that the peppers have a snap to them coming out of the jar; they aren't mushy like some store bought peppers can be. Well, that's enough about peppers... try them yourself; you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Unlike other food companies that fill their packages up only 60% full, or have more jalepeno juice than actual peppers themselves, this company literally tries to pack as many peppers thatll physically fit inside the bottle. I respect that. Wish more companies had that sort of integrity. Also very high quality, good heat, and good crunch. 5 star.

So first, my grocery store carried these and then they stopped! The texture on these jalapeños is consistently crunch or nice texture they don’t smash. I mean sometimes, but for the most part, the texture on these is very good. Also, the consistency of the flavor for our personal pallet preference these are not too much vinegar. The heat so far has been very consistent and I’m so happy with the product we have actually created a subscription.. And increased our quantity from 2 to 4 jars Thank you Mrs. Renfro for such delicious jalapeños!

I absolutely LOVE these jalapeño slices! The flavor is amazing and the crunch is perfect! They arrive beautifully packaged and they are better than any I have ever tasted. If you like adding delicious jalapeño slices to your favorite foods, without searing your tongue off, but still getting the heat and amazing flavor, this is the product to purchase! I go through them so quickly that I now keep an extra box of four jars on hand at all times. You will NOT be disappointed with this amazing product!

Love these peppers. Always fresh and taste great. I was upset the store I always bought them at stopped carrying them. Writing this review because I was very impressed with the packaging, presentation, and freshness. When I opened the box, not only were the jars in great shape and packaging was impressive, they don’t expire for 2 YEARS! Price was same as store’s price - which was great considering the shipping and packaging was included.

On one jar the cap was tight. On the other not so much. Cap was not loose enough to cause leakage, but it should have been tighter. The peppers are very good. Chrispy. Hot. Exactly as described. Will buy these again, and will try their other pepper products. Reduced rating by one star because of the loose cap.

My absolute favorite jalapeños! If you're looking for something with an authentic flavor (as opposed to something too vinegary), this is the best. The texture is great too. You're not going to open the jar and find a bunch of mushy jalapeños. I buy several jars and make up little ziplock baggies of them to take when I'm going out to eat. So many restaurants are terrified to put even the smallest amount of heat on something. Also, great to take to the movie theater if you're unlucky enough by one who hoards their nacho toppings like they are made of gold. Seriously, 75 cents for a tiny plastic cup of maybe 10 slices?!? It would cost me $50 just to get my nachos how I like them. A jalapeño in every bite!
